I thought of a fic where I explained that the Grimm brothers were Storytellers who got too involved in the story and got trapped between the pages. (Which is why they both look so old.) That the book of destiny is a storybook from the world of storytellers. That's why it contains such powerful magic and is so important. It is possible to influence the lives of storybook characters simply by writing about the stories in that book. Which is why Milton Grimm is so obsessed with that book. He himself was the one who introduced it in Ever After. Giles, on the other hand, would prefer that book to be FAR away from his brother's hands. He prefers to see how each person writes his own story. He doesn't like his brother's idea that everyone should follow the original story.
I would also like to implement that when the World of Stories fragments, some characters that existed prior to that event continued to exist. An example would be Dracula, Draculaura's father, who also possesses a book of destiny. But it is quite broken and worn. While he still has great power, he is of little use to Dracula. So he has it hidden and under high security so that no one touches it. Because he is aware of how dangerous it is.
Some others that survived may be the myths. In fact, I have an idea that the Gorgons escaped from their myths and ended up in the World of Monsters. After Medusa's sisters recovered her head and revived her with their blood. Medusa prefers not to tell Deuce this detail because it seems irrelevant to her.
I love all the ideas but I don't know how I could implement them. I don't even know whether to do each story separately or have it all be the same. It's frustrating to just wander around with an idea and not be able to create anything concrete. 😫 Although I also feel like I should finish reading EAH's books before putting something coherent together. 🫠
