Garden mysteries was finally revealed!! I love her, it seems like some people really don't like this line already?? They just got leaked, give them a minute! Anyway, I really like most of the design, I just wish the skirt wasn't a tight pencil skirt, so I think I want to make a cute black rose petal skirt once I get her. I also am not sold on the pigtails, so I gave her a bob here, but I will wait until I see the hair in person to decide if I like it or not. I think the pigtails have potential to be cute, it's also interesting they went with the dark purple hair? @pocketpepperimp thinks they may be referencing g1 with the hairstyles, since Venus looks a lot more like her g1 counterpart, and this Twyla hair is very reminiscent of her g1 coffin bean color sheme. I also gave her a hair piece just for fun, to be a little more garden party-esq! And her accessories are to die for, it looks like she has a gingerbread house?? And the haunted house purse??? I can't wait to see everything up close and see all the details!

I think g3 draculaura’s design is fine. It’s honestly pretty hard to go wrong with her. I actually have this doll, and I think it’s pretty cute. I do miss her pigtails, and I wish they stuck with the hot pink rather than softening it to a more pastel like they did.

G3 was trying to do a body diversity thing, but it feels like they were too scared to actually commit to making fat characters so instead they just like…gave some of them wider hips. Not that I made her any chubbier in my design, but I wanted to point it out.

I liked g1’s vest-kinda top (whatever you’d call it), and I liked g1’s cape and mesh outer skirt so I kinda combined the two and used the same color for her stockings. And I gave her heart buttons because they’re cute

Overall, uhh, they’re both cute and I like them both. still mad about g1 giving her an american accent but this ain’t about that

Redesign idea for River Styxx from Monster High! Her original design is cute but it could be better. Toned down her colours to have pops of colour instead.
