Hanging Upside Down
I'm not going to write much because I've written so much in my planner about how great the experience was. Aerial yoga. Honestly, I needed to write about this somewhere and I had all the right things I wanted to say in the car on my way to Target tonight. I have been looking forward to doing a class of aerial yoga but could never find one in my area. Finally during a stay near LA I took the chances and went to a class. I never had to really trust my body like I did in this class. The instructor had to constantly remind me and say things along the lines of "honey, trust your body and just let go." So so so many times I just mentally (and physically) shook my head no and she'd just smile and walk toward me and nod yes. In the end, she spot with while doing somersaults and some other moves, but it was incredibly fun. It also gave me an insight on what I really needed to practice. It's been so long since I laughed so freely and was so happy. Everything was just great, humidity and all.
I will definitely go back and take classes. I honestly don't even see it as a choice. I had so much fun and it relieved stress in an unbelievable way. My back was decompressed and i was twirled, spun, and swung this way and that and i had an amazing time.
I do think I'll be bruising at my hip flexors. For sure. That one the instructor seemed to have understood the pain and did not come after me to try again.
It's Been a Long Time.
It's been heck of a long time since either of us has updated. The not so great thing is that until I go back home, I don't have a tape measure. This is definitely what I get for trying to help my family and get them pumped in getting fit as well. There are bets and competitions flying all over the place in my household, but the one I have my eyes on is that CM one that I have with my brother. I WANT CLUB MONACO CLOTHES! He is able to lose weight so much faster than me due to his age, his sex, and his ability to go out and exercise whenever he wants with no 8-5 job to get in the way.
For a couple weeks, it'll just be my weight, but I want to make sure these are recorded so I have a record SOMEWHERE.

I got xrays done of my thoracic spine due to persisting pain after a trampoline fitness class. I had received chiropractic treatment for it, but the pain persisted and was just ruining everything. The NP I went to told me to get xrays done to rule out a compression fracture. The bad news if it is a compression fracture means no strenuous activity. I never though I'd say this, but I miss jogging. No jogging, yoga, or anything else that causes my back pain to flare up. This is not good because I now feel like yoga keeps me sane.
There is only a slight chance of it being a compression fracture, and even though I'm not a doctor, my xrays looked great. Doesn't look like I have scoliosis either. Looked straight as a pole. Yay for being 23.
A Bit Ridiculous
So it's been a really long time since either of us wrote anything here except our stats and pictures. I have been thinking about it, and it seems like that is only a quarter of what should be done to keep me motivated. The other 75% really has to do with checking for inspiration as well as writing about how I'm feeling.
Food-wise. Things aren't as clean as they could be, but it's definitely not a complete failure. I am a bit worried about this weekend because sj115 is coming and we've been talking about everything we want to eat and drink. I keep thinking about it and I'm getting stressed. Honestly, I don't want to eat or drink half the things we planned anymore. I've started feeling nauseous with too much oily and heavy food and I'm almost as lightweight with alcohol as I was when I first started drinking. One beer. ONE BEER can get me buzzed just like that. I don't know what's going to happen this weekend, but I definitely don't want to feel gross. Maybe I'll just go for the healthy options... who knows.... but I really just needed to write out this thought. To put it somewhere permanent because it makes me want it more. I just need to write out my feelings because lately I've been feeling stressed out and I can't figure out what it is.

Feeling Heavy
So this is my first day back on track with clean eating and working out. The weekend started off innocent enough, but the Sunday to Monday transition screwed me over. I really started just eating everything near me. I won't even talk about Tuesday. So i feel full right now, but not stuffed. Just satiated. Nevertheless, I need to lose the weight I have gained Sunday-Tuesday and get back on track. Vegas any time soon, and I don't have the body I believe is decent enough to bare.
