The manga series starring the a meek, caring & timid yet heroically ambitious foresthaired young man by the name of Izuku Midoriya better known as Deku as he goes on his hero journey to be the Next Symbol of Peace; The Number 1 Hero in a superpowered world when powerless after his legendary idol, Toshinori Yagi aka All Might: just as the latter passed down the generational transferable quirk (the in-universe name for the superpowers/superhuman abilities) of One For All, with fellow childhood bully-turned ally & rival Katsuki Bakugo, cold & warm friend Shoto Todoroki & many more as they attend a prestigious superhero school; UA High & later learn many of the MHA’s world on a superhuman & superhero based & fuelled society, culture & cause & effect, problematic division between Heroes & Villains & how they’re created, quirks determining life & expectations in such a society & dealing with antagonists: The League of Villains - more of this story unfolds later.

This series was polarizing both in success & criticism; the latter of which became into severe hatred, problems & excessive criticism that could evolve into the writing, characters, lore & story deserving better & could’ve been written/treated better to toxic deconstructive criticism, exaggerated hatred, constant slander & more that dragged MHA”s name continuously through the mud &, with the fandom being equally if not more toxic, unbearable & incredibly abhorrent & nightmarish but there has been many loyal fans & enthusiasts of MHA from the very beginning that loved it to this very day.

Dear MHA & Dear Kohei Horikoshi, despite some if not many of the story & series’ flaws, you been a legendary series that has taught many lessons & values from heroism to empathy to redemption/atonement to moving on & to prominent ones from inspiring next generations to stand & keep the symbol flaming strong & bright, & to both reach & lend a hand to those who needed it but were rejected it & it costed them greatly. Unity & empathy is what makes us strong & could bring us to peace in society Happy 12th Anniversary My Hero Academia & Go Beyond, Plus Ultra! :D

also the ojirou final page says that clothes stores alter clothes in order to fit with people’s various quirks—that’s such an insane piece of worldbuilding to me—all clothes stores now have a wide enough profit margin to provide in house tailoring? all clothes are sturdy enough to handle this? did they get rid of fast fashion?

before Iida enacts his exit sign plan, before he thinks “what would my brother do?” he thinks “what would midoriya do?” this is an insane impact for like 4 cumulative days of knowing someone, midoriya has shot up past iida’s all might

also I love that when midoriya acts anxious and says he’s unsure if he can be class president that both uraraka and iida immediately say “no you’ll be perfect” like Iida eventually did great but midoriya also would have done good if it had panned out—his friends are right about his leadership potential

this is like day 2 of class and midoriya has already formed more connections than anybody else—he really would have had so many more friends growing up if he hadn’t landed in such a social gridlock
