Chapter 315 Spoilers!!

I actually feel really bad for Chisaki. It is his fault his Boss is in a coma and all he wants to do is see him. His Boss raised Chisaki. The reason he freaked out when Tomura took his arm wasn’t because his arm was gone. He didn’t freak out when Compress took his other one. He only freaked out when he realized without his arms he was quirkless. The only reason for this was because he knew he wouldnt be able to get his boss or rather father figure Out of the coma he put him in. All he wanted to do was repay his boss for caring for him. He did terrible things to Eri and obviously hes never going to be forgiven for that but everything he did was to impress his boss. Make the Shie Hissaikai rise to what they used to be.

Chisaki’s mental state and deal with Lady Nagant

Overhaul has not completely lost his mind but is still pretty broken. But at least we know now that he does pay even just a little bit attention to his surroundings. While changing (in a clothing store perhaps?), Kai suddenly speaks up, saying he knows who Lady Nagant’s target is, which means when AFO appeared to talk to Nagant, Kai wasn’t completely out of it. He claims that Midoriya ruined his plan but interestingly enough also calls him a “victim of the hero syndrome“ as if he has a mental illness. His opinion on heroes and villains hasn’t changed.  So Lady Nagant tells him she will bring him along so that he can help her confirm her target.

In exchange for his help, he asks for something in return (while Nagant comments that he’s kinda small lmao), saying he actually doesn’t care about revenge, the only thing he wants is to see his pops. 

This is where he breaks down, the guilt and pain of putting the man who took care of him into coma washes over him and Kai fails to function properly. He’s like a child who just wants to be reunited with their parent. So while Deku and Lady Nagant fight, Overhaul shouts that her that he had already done his part (which was identifying Deku) and that she now needs to do hers which taking is him pops. But then... Lady Nagant won’t be able to do her part of the deal.
