Suit up, loser. 💥
Summer 🧃
I was in the mood for sadness
They say grief is love with nowhere to go. Nowhere to be recognized or reciprocated. It just exists. Loving your husband was the most easiest thing in the world to do, like breathing. His love felt warm and consuming the way a hug would feel to a child. He loved and cared for you like no other, always made you proud. You didn’t know the brash young boy he once was, but you knew and love the resilient man he was today.
Was.
Loved.
Sitting at the kitchen table with glossed over eyes, hearing the sounds of conversations being had but not really listening to them. It all sounded like muffled words and unknown voices drawing into one big background noise. Your fingers were anxiously toying with your wedding ring, something to find ground on.
Do people still wear their wedding rings when their loved one is dead? Are they still married? Married to a corpse? The thought brought a bitter feeling to your throat.
“Y/n, would you like some water?” A familiar voice echoed through the dull background. You breathed in but couldn’t speak. You wanted to say yes but you also wanted to scream. You also wanted to cry. You wanted to throw everything and everyone out the house. Toss out that ugly orange flower vase he picked out as a gift, the gift that holds the very last flowers he got you a week ago.
“I never really liked that vase.” Your sullen eyes glued to the orange vase across the dining room table. Midoriya was shocked to hear you finally speak, even if you sounded broken and hoarse.
“I told him, every time he gets me flowers that I have no wear to place them.” You continue, “and he made some funny comment about how he’ll always hold my flowers. I didn’t get it.”
“Y/n…”
“And then the very next day, he came home with this ugly flame orange colored vase, holding in bright yellow tulips. I told him, that is so ugly and doesn’t match the kitchen.” Your memory recalls and plays the scene as if its shadows right in front of you. Small unknown smile was forming and Midoriya just watched and listened
“He got mad of course, said ‘woman I spent an hour trying to pick a vase that would match me.’ I still didn’t get it. But I think I do now. He’s always holding my flowers.”
Your chair screeched from being pushed over the floorboards, conversations in the next room dying out. Midoriya quick on his feet. It was like you were being pulled in. You slowly brought your hands over to grip the vase with its now, dead flowers. A swift breeze hit you, almost knocked the air out your lungs with its familiar smell. Cinnamon. Slowly you started to pick the dead flowers out the vase, and hold the empty orange flamed vase against your chest.
“I’m gonna lie down now.” You whispered. Midoriya was quick to shadow you to your room. He made sure no one tried to share condolences, offer a smile or even make eye contact with you. In a moment of sadness and numbness, he acted as how your husband would’ve. Midoriya tucked you into bed, still cradling the vase close to your chest.
“I’ll be right outside if you need me.” He whispered.
He exited the room and stood guard. Reassured guests and friends who tried to check on you. Saw everyone leave and place their condolence cards in a letterbox. He cleaned up any leftover plates and tidied up the tables and couch. He was starting to wonder if he should stay the night on the couch, just in case.
He wouldn’t want her to be alone
Midoriya rested his jacket back on the kitchen chair and looked to grab extra blankets. He could make due with the couch cushion as a pillow. Before fixing up his bed for the night, he creeped up to your bedroom door. Upon opening the door, he found you in the same position. Still awake.
“It’s late. You need to sleep.” He says.
“I’m afraid.” You croaked.
“Afraid of what?” He takes a step in.
“Of seeing him in my dreams..and then having to wake up and he’s not here.” Your voice broke releasing the damn of tears fall. You clutched the vase still. Your sobs hurt him, knowing he couldn’t provide anything to help.
“He’s not here.” You repeated, “He’s not here. He’s not here. Oh my gods he’s not here anymore. He’s gone, dead, not living. He’s not here with me.” You cried out.
Midoriya stood now at your bedside, kneeling and trying to offer any kind of support. He let his emotions win and cried with you.
“I’m so sorry y/n..”
Your agonizing sobs echoed in the house.
Happy birthday to him!

cws: MDNI18+, fem!reader, fingering, Katsuki Bakugo x reader
We’re all pretty much agreed that Kats is a light sleeper, brain still on alert even after a hard day of hero work and vigorous training. So, it’s no surprise that any movement from you in bed, whether it be to roll over and adjust, or just to cuddle up next to him has his red, sleepy gaze fluttering open for a few beats before he releases a long sigh out of his nose and dozes back off again, hand finding sanctuary wherever he can touch your warm skin.
It’s not just the physical aspect of it either; it’s like Katsuki can sense when your brain won’t turn off. You can be stock-still, lying on your back, arms at your side, not moving a single muscle while breathing slowly and quietly, and you still see his head roll against the pillow your way; his dimmed, bleary gaze burning a hole into your temple.
“You’re being too damn loud,” he grumbles. Your lips twitch and you blink, letting your eyes fall from the ceiling down to his as you look over at him.
“I haven’t even said anything.”
He huffs haughtily. “I’m talkin’ ‘bout yer damn brain. Shut it off and go to sleep. Yer keepin’ me up.”
You roll your eyes and look back up at the ceiling, inhaling deeply before releasing it into the quietness of the room.
“Don’t think it’s that easy, Kats,” you mutter. He blinks at you for a few more seconds, and just when you think he’s about to roll over and fall back asleep, leaving you to your staring contest with the ceiling fan, he sighs gently and scoots closer, surprising you.
Your gaze snaps over to his when his chest brushes against your shoulder; your lips part to ask him what he’s doing when he shushes you grumpily and slides his left arm under your neck and shoulder.
He pinches your chin between his index finger and thumb with his other hand, and pulls your face closer to his, his warm breath caressing your mouth and making you shudder and curl deeper into him. His heat, his strength, his safety.
“No talking. Shut it off,” he whispers, and the deep, gravely tone of his voice makes your thighs zip together, toes curling under the sheets.
His eyes catch the subtle movement and the corner of his mouth curls up into a small smirk that is begging to be called out and challenged by your sass, but before you’re able, his lips catch yours in an achingly soft kiss — the kind you get blessed with after an argument, or when he’s had a rough day and is left emotionally raw. Or, in this case, when he’s half-asleep but is still taking care of you in ways only he knows how to.
Your breath catches and you arch when his fingers trail down your chest, between your breasts and over your stomach, circling your navel once and huffing in amusement when you gasp from the ticklish sensation.
“K-Kats,” you murmur when his hand dips underneath the band of your underwear, fingers finding your warm, pulsing clit with expert precision, but are cut off once again when his teeth nip at your bottom lip in punishment.
“I said no talking,” he says against your mouth, swallowing your answering whimper.
You don’t realize how ready and pliant you are until he easily slides his long, calloused ring finger into your fluttering hole, pumping it in and out a few times before his middle joins in the ministrations.
One of your hands clenches the soft sheets underneath your trembling body while the other reaches for purchase on his thigh, squeezing the hard, toned muscle there until he grunts deep in his throat.
Your eyes flutter closed when the arm underneath your neck wraps around and he palms your breast, flicking your nipple until it hardens to an almost painful degree. The breath leaves you in a shuddering exhale, and he presses his forehead against your temple, panting softly between gentle, slow kisses against your ear and cheek.
“Close your eyes, sweets. Let me take the noise away for you, yeah?”
You’re nodding immediately and don’t hesitate to do as he says, a rare occurrence that tells you both just how desperate you were to come, but also to sleep.
Closing your eyes makes everything — every brush of his lips, the gentle sweep of his breath on your skin… the steady strokes of his fingers against the small rough spot in your pussy — feel as if it’s multiplied by a hundred, and you’re chasing a quickly forming high.
You roll your hips once, hearing a hum of approval that makes you shiver and preen, and are rewarded when Katsuki circles his thumb over your clit. You buck and gasp, but his body presses against yours, heavier than before to keep you from jerking away from him.
“Come f’me. Wanna taste you on my fingers, baby. Give it t’me.”
Warmth builds deep in your stomach, but not once does he change his pace. He keeps it even and slow, and when he feels your body start to tremble and your nails dig into his skin, he presses his forehead to your shoulder and releases a muffled moan while his hips rut against your thigh.
The pressure of his thumb increases slightly, but it’s just what you need to tip right over the precarious edge you were toeing. Your mouth drops open, eyes squeeze shut, and your muscles stiffen while your limbs flood and buzz with hot, static pleasure.
He fingers you through your high before he slowly pulls them out, ignoring your soft whine of disappointment. Your gaze is heavy, mind foggy, but you open your eyes just enough to watch him suck those same fingers into his mouth, his eyes rolling back with a groan of satisfaction.
When his attention finally falls back to you again, he smiles softly and cradles your jaw with the same hand he just made you see stars with. His lips find yours and he rolls you both until your nose is buried against his neck and you’re sprawled on top of him, humming happily.
“Sleep, sweet thing. You’ll need it when I wake you up in the morning.”
His cock, fitting snugly between your warm bodies, twitches, and you feel a bolt of anticipation run down your spine. But his body heat, and the gentle way his hand softly strokes your back, overpowers the lingering pleasure, and you feel your eyes droop until darkness finally swoops in to whisk you away to your dreams.

“Early Morning Coffee and Comfort.”-𝒦𝒶𝓉𝓈𝓊𝓀𝒾 ℬ.
𝒮𝓊𝓂𝓂𝒶𝓇𝓎:You and 𝒦atsuki were never close, well, not exactly. But after accidentally running into him early in the morning, friendship began to blossom between the two of you over a warm cup of coffee.

(This is one of my first-ever fics on Tumblr! And I’m super excited, so I’m sorry if this feels rushed or anything, and if you guys would like a part two, I’m open for requests! •ᴗ•)
It was a slow morning in the UA dorms, with the humming of the coffee machine and the soft silence that greeted you as you made your way out of your dorm. It was earlier than you normally wake up, the sun slowly rising over the horizon, painting the dorm with a soft glow.
You turned the corner, expecting an empty kitchen, but to your surprise, there was a blonde figure bending over the counter in search of a coffee cup. 𝒦atsuki ℬakugo. His signature snarl etched across his face, you’ve only talked to the boy a handful of time so being in the kitchen at the same time was almost a guaranteed recipe for disaster.
ℬakugo let out a sigh, turning around to face you, like he had already felt your presence. His eyes softened ever so slightly as he examined your pajamas, biting back a laugh and covering his mouth.
You took a moment to look down at yourself. Shit, you didn’t expect anyone to be up so early, so you were dressed in an oversized all-might shirt and dark blue flannel pajamas. Your face heated up out of embarrassment as you looked down at your feet.
“What the hell are you wearing, I would’ve never guessed you were such a geek..” he cackled as he pointed down at your pajamas.
You slide your way into one of the chairs near the counter, “I didn’t expect company this morning, so I didn’t have enough time to get ready, that’s all.” You huffed, avoiding his gaze.
The blonde only hummed, shaking his head as he turned back to whatever he was doing, glancing at you occasionally from time to time to check if you were still there.
You rested your head on the cold marble countertop, taking in the view. Bakugo moved around the kitchen with ease, as if he knew exactly what he was doing. He turned on the coffee machine, filling two mugs with steaming milk while sticking out his tongue in concentration. The early morning sun perfectly painted his features, making him look even more beautiful.
ℬakugo slowly turned to face you, sliding one of the mugs over towards you. A look of confusion painted your face. He made you a cup aswell? That’s awfully sweet, but so off brand of the short-tempered boy. ℬakugo was known for being loud-mouthed, cocky, and extremely arrogant. So why was he being so considerate?
“Is this for me.?” You asked
“It’s nothing. Just take the damn mug. It’s not like I spiked it or anything, idiot.” ℬakugo huffed, his cheeks flushing a pretty shade of light pink, brushing off the situation.
“I’m not saying you did.” You chucked softly, just enough to make the blonde boy melt. A small smirk made its way onto his face, which, as quick as it came, disappeared as he cleared his throat.
“Thanks though.. This is really sweet of you, 𝒦atsuki.”You hummed in approval, taking the warm cup into your hand, looking down to examine the drink.
Coffee with extra vanilla creamer, the sweet aroma was just enough to make your mouth water. 𝒴ℴ𝓊𝓇 𝒻𝒶𝓋ℴ𝓇𝒾𝓉ℯ, how did he know?
You slowly took the cup to your lips, taking a small sip. Your eyes lit up; it was amazing! The ratio of coffee and creamer was perfect, the temperature was just right, and on top of the foam was a small sprinkle of cinnamon.
“This is amazing! What can you not do at this point? This is my exact order. How did you know?” You asked, tugging at his shirt's long sleeves.
“It was just a guess, you always like your shit sweet. It’s not exactly a secret, you come to class with a cup of coffee, it’s a hard detail to miss.” ℬakugo muttered, swatting your hand away from his sleeve while he leaned his face onto his palm
He noticed? That was a surprising turn of events. A warm smile slowly spread across your face, and you felt your heart start to race.
A few minutes passed, and the cups of coffee were quickly forgotten as friendly banter erupted between the two of you.
Bakugo was surprisingly easy to talk to. He listened attentively, adding his insights without interrupting. When he did speak, he would pause for a moment, allowing you to continue.
That day, a mutual friendship blossomed between you, growing into something much deeper and more intimate.
Suddenly, sharing early morning coffee with Bakugo became a cherished part of your daily routine, a warm cup always ready for you, the lingering smell of vanilla and cinnamon. Just the right amount of foam and cinnamon.
Such a simple gesture, but even so.. it never failed to make you smile.
