Characters: Vil!Deku, (Reader), Brief mention of; Dabi, Mr.Compress, Shigaraki, Toga, and Kurogiri.
Relationship: Villain Deku X (Reader)
A/N: SO, now that this whole shit storm of a year is coming to an end, I decided to celebrate it by making a three part series of Villain Deku, because somebody (who ilsm) relates to me when its that time of day and we have Villain Deku brain rot. But this three part series was actually inspired by my own actions, so I gotta blame myself! XD
TW: Alcohol, intimidation tactic (If ya squint!), and lots of swearing (But this is me for crying out loud...)
[Next Part: --->]
It was strange to be called upon by Deku.
Sure, Shigaraki called (*cough* *cough* bribed *cough*) you to his ‘meeting’ room to inform you of the following ‘errands’ you had to do- it’s mostly going to several over secret hideouts and torturing small-town gangsters who thought it was funny to fuck around with debts they owed to somebody who asked or hired (you didn’t pay attention to what it was called) a person from the LOV to ‘rough’ up the victim - but every now and then, it would be to go to GIran with Dabi, also known as telling Dabi not to be a fucking prick to our most trustworthy broker.
But the likelihood of Dabi not being a prick is below negative one hundred percent. So, don’t have anybody start on any solution to stop it, because you certainly don’t want any participation in the patchwork villain’s business.
Though, a clicking sound that vibrated and bounced off of the vacant corridor walls had reminded you where you were headed; Deku’s room. The room of a gentlemen (asshole), who commands us alongside Shigaraki (a wannabe leader compared to Shigaraki), and helps us get our weapons to assist our quirks (that’s actually Mr. Compress’s job in reality).
Were you in trouble? There was no plausible answer to this sudden announcement. Though, what is surprising is that it’s probably the second time- in a month- this has happened to you.
Who even cares at this moment? Besides the main factor that everyone (besides you) knows the green-haired villain has a crush on your cold-hearted attitude and your mouth-watering body, it isn’t a surprise that he wants a bite outta you- considering the high frequency of times, you have felt somebody’s ‘laser’-eyes burning judgement and criticisms into your back every goddamn minute- as you swirl a shot glass of tequila when sitting in the bar area of the base, it all pointed back to a green-haired villain as Toga would gush over how he seems distracted because of somebody’s revealing outfit....
(I’m sure you can figure out who’s outfit it might have been.)
Creep. Hissed the back of (y/n)’s mind, when she sees those polished and distinguishingly clean silver door handles jutting out from the jet-black door. “Here we go again.” She muttered under her breath when grasping the unusual- is it even wrong to call it ‘unusual’- cold door handle and pushing it open.
There, he relaxed under the glamorous illuminations that spiced the boring white walls of his room- acting like a spoiled fucking brat. (You wished that you had a teleportation quirk like Kurogiri at this moment.)
Green bangs were swooped backwards to reveal a pair of verdant emerald eyes- where they had a thin line of twinkling smugness- as the top two buttons of his ‘designer crafted’ white blouse scantly reveals the edge of his collar bone alongside seeing a faint trace of the skin on his waist as his black trousers lightly tugged downwards helping the white shirt pop out ever so slightly from the waistline.
Even if he looked handsome, there was always a hint of jealousy and hatred for him. There was always going to be that hiss or venomous snap of your voice when you spoke to him because he had so much more than you or was it the power he held?
Nonetheless, with one of his legs crossed over the other one as it was held up by an armrest, Deku’s back hit the other armrest where his attention was gathered at a newspaper article and the simple curved glass of deep crimson liquid pooled peacefully at rock bottom.
As half of his body was covered by the shadow of his chair- which he arrogantly claims as his ‘throne’- the sleek black leather was delicately shined to his appropriate standard, you couldn’t help but roll your eyes at Deku’s ridiculous sitting position. It's like he wants to be seen as an adult but instead ruins that image by acting like a child.
It’s not like he’s noticed you yet, maybe you should time how long it takes for the boy to see your impatient form tapping the lacquered brown floor with only the tips of your boots alongside hearing the metallic objects jingling- more like clanking, however, who gives a shit?
You didn’t have time for this, the mission that both you and Twice had to leave for was starting tomorrow and with all of your weapons needing a really good clean after last nights turn of events, Deku could really make effective use of his eyes to notice that somebody is waiting for him to speak.
Maybe it has been five or ten minutes? Maybe you should leave or maybe he finally noticed you. (Y/n) was already becoming annoyed with the sudden announcement, but now this shit? Does she need to call the manager or something- it's like she is receiving crappy service at a restaurant, which isn’t good.
The subtle- and very lazily- toss of the flimsy newspaper didn’t distract you from eyeing the male’s actions. Tilting his head towards the wine glass he was holding, an eyebrow quirked up in fascination of (y/n)’s impatience with a steady scowl crawling slowly against her lips- she just needs to stay calm and respectful- however, it’s becoming ever so difficult by each millisecond.
“What do you want, doll?” Furrowed eyebrows created creases in her skin, “I should be asking you that question, sir.” He smirked, took a dainty sip from his wine, and moved his body into a normal sitting position.
God, she’s so enticing to anger and manipulate, it’s becoming more than a drug for him- its steadily on the route of becoming an addiction.
“My, my, doll face- I never knew you were feisty!” As he took another sip out of his glass, his head shook in amusement of your response but as well as in curiosity of your next response. “So what? I never knew you were an alcoholic,” Placing a hand on your hips, you continued, “yet, you have at least seven empty bottles of red wine- all of them being the same brand.” His, on cue, falsely offensive gesture- where he places his free hand on the crest of his chest and gasps- was presented to you as a way to ‘let go’ on him.
Whatever the fuck that’s supposed to mean- you have no sympathy for him. “Now, are you going to tell me why I’m here?” Snapped (y/n), as Deku really knows how to push her buttons. He really does.
“Aww, that won’t be necessary…” Again, that smile of white but deadly opaque canine teeth was used against you as those broad shoulders curled inwards allowing a darken gaze of predatory domination where a thick glob of colourless liquid pushed against (y/n)’s throat to force itself backwards.
“I’m not playing your game, Deku.” A staggering step backwards betrayed your brave tone as you saw the last of the drinkable liquid pour downwards and a loud crash of glass elegantly shattering against the floor similarly to the elegance the man in the room carries around like a trophy.
Shaking his head in disbelief, it wasn’t till then that you swore you needed first aid assistance due to your heart bashing against each singular rib bone as it held a deadly sledgehammer. “I never said you were, doll face.”
Although he tried to get closer to you, the moment he placed both of his feet down on the floor is when your feet took you outside of the room and away from his reach.
“She’s so cruel…” Murmured the green-haired villain as it piqued his curiosity.

Summary:
Y/F/N has sat in either jail, prison, or a mental hospital for two years now. They had been captured by no other than the number one hero, All Might. Your case never made it to the media or press as the police and heroes agreed to keep you a secret. Until now! Nezu finally convinced the other teachers of UA and the police force to release you into his custody. His plan was simple, turn you from a villain into a hero. The school year was defiantly moving quickly and you would have a lot to catch up on. Would you make it as a hero? Would you prove the world wrong or just become another mark in the world?

It's not fair really…
Falling in love, was absolutely the one thing you didn’t want. But here you are, sitting snug under his wrapped arms as the tv droned on about hero news and he didn’t bother changing the channels. Countless times in the thirty, goddamn, minutes you had been home he didn’t bother even talking to you as his raven black mane rested ever-so lazily against the couch.
“Dabi,” You heard a hum emitted from him. Was he angry at you? Or better yet, is he angry at you? “Are you okay?” Instead of watching the news, your eyes ever so shifted to the fog outside the closed frostbitten windows. “It’s none of your business.” Although he hasn’t been sleeping as much as he did before, the undertone of his hoarse voice was louder than usual. It was like he was bored with something…
It probably was you.
.
.
.
With the progress of nightfall coming quicker than usual, you leaned forward as a hazy memory in the wake of his mind. Dropping your feet to the floor, the male scanned your body language - clenched hands, stiff shoulders, a closed body expression- you didn’t bother looking back at him when getting off the couch. “What are you doing?” The tables had turned. he asked the questions; you gave the answers now. Like bad cop versus good cop.
Little did he know, something had switched inside of you. “It’s none of your business.” (y/n)’s voice turned bitter and cold, just like the frost climbing onto the window, your words nipped at his own feelings. Was it the shallow throwback to his dismissive comment that made him dig his nails into the silky skin of your hand before you left that escalated the chaotic snowstorm internally of oneself?
“If you even dare—” Ripping your hand from his grip, you cut him off “do what, you fucking prick?” You sliced any sort of co-operation with him. “Whenever I do my own shit, you have a problem with it.” He couldn’t disagree with you, “Fuck off.” Gracefully placing your hands on the same hips, he grips dangerously in the early mornings, those eyes of yours carefully challenged him to say another word.
“See? You’re not denying it.” Pivoting on one of your heels, your form went to the kitchen.
-------
The silence of the early morning was broken by a zipper echoing in the numbingly cold bedroom. Dabi however couldn’t feel it. The warmth on his bed lulled him back to this illusion of a different reality.
His reality.
He’s trapped in it, not the regret and sadness he is trapped, instead, it’s the thoughts that wrangle the epitome demon that he keeps under many chains and locks till the time is just right. Faintly though, even if he wasn’t already half-asleep once the zipping had stopped, the male lifted his head to see one or two suitcases lined up and your figure rolling them too close to the bedroom door.
With one sinister shadow rolling onto the floor and up the close white curtains, it looked him dead in his eyes like it had been watching him all this time. “Where are,” He yawned, “you headin’?” From this distance, he couldn’t tell if your whole body was shaking or if it was just your hands gripping the two suitcase handles way too tightly. You thought you were being as quiet as possible- packing (more like stuffing) most of the clothes and essentials you owned into two medium-sized suitcases- but the moment Dabi had woken up, there will be no fathomable doubt that you would have to lie to him.
The longer you stayed here, it felt like you were more like his tool for pleasure rather than to hold and cherish.
“Just go back to sleep, Dabi.” A pregnant pause ensued till it was clear of what you meant. Dabi has seen this scene far too many times to believe what is happening- Suitcases, a cold behaviour, and the singular word sleep- you were abandoning him weren’t you? Just like his Mother did to his Father.
Sure, the flaming pile of shit that is supposed to be a hero has his Mother stuck in a mental hospital, but he knows the familiar word abandonment loves to roll off his tongue. “Your leaving, aren’t you?” Don’t think he didn’t notice the slight flinch in your shoulders. “Go to sleep,” Biting on the bottom of your lip, (y/n) breathed in and then out, “there’s nothing to see here…”
“If there’s nothing to see,” his feet were planted on the chilly cold floor, “then why are you holding two suitcases?” The zipper to your mouth was closed. You both knew the word was going to slide off his tongue soon. He was prepared for whatever might happen and the force he might have to take just for you to stay.
Why is that deathly silence warped around the two individuals? Freedom seemed so bittersweet in this scene. It’s the traditional scene out of a sitcom: Mother is leaving the house with a bag, or two, in tow and the child watches from his bedroom doorframe as she twists the handle and---
---------
Here you are now. Most of his body was covered with a blanket where small drops of a smooth river flooded the red hills of your cheeks.
If he could cry; He would do it out of pure joy.
It was just a dream; he was happy it was a dream.
“A-are you okay?” Dabi is okay now that you’re here. But he’s not okay with the waterworks. “There’s no need to cry, doll.” It was rare to hear his soft voice. But here he is, using that same soft voice that makes you feel closure and that profound comforting feeling. “You scared me…” Placing a, similarly to his own, clammy hand on his cheek and staring straight into those ocean blue eyes that showed a long lost torment where those reassuring words he spoke out was something nobody would repeat once more.
At long last, even if the demons of both of their minds wouldn’t rest, the couple still found comfort in each other.
Four walls of white cement padded walls soundproofed to contain the constant insanity within them. Loops of solid steel had been bolted into the floor only for a chain to be brought through. A set of cuffs had been attached to them. The thick leather containing the wrists of an unwilling captive. The door only had a slit big enough for someone to look in or out and a one way door handle. Outside stood two men both wearing the same uniform. Branding them as the guards of the prison Tarturus.
Both guards are built like heavy weight lifting champions. Standing guard still as the principal of UA High School walks through the hall with All Might in tow. “Sir do you really believe they can change?” All Might asks. He could still remember when he knocked you out. The way your face curved in exhaustion yet somehow you still wore that predatory smile ear to ear. Cackling like you already had nothing to lose. He swallows and yet still looks at the principal.
“Yes. I am sure. We will purpose our plan and if they believe they should not take it then that is it. Though if they do we are to watch them like every other student. Help them learn to be a Hero.” He states it softly as he looks to the guards. “Open the door please.” The guard on the right opens the door and squeaks out in resistance.
Your head jerks at the sound. Your eyes watching the door and focusing on the creature in front of you. You would have talked or scream at him yet unable to do so as the large cloth that went over your mouth kept any sound you could make behind your clenched teeth. When your cold eyes set on the man behind the rat you smile again. Tilting your head back managing to tuck your feet under you. You had limited movement with your hands cuffed to the floor. Yet you could still crotch like a cat in human form ready to pounce at any time. Letting your head, your silver hair pool over your shoulders and messily over your face. Waiting for what you needed to do in response to your visitors.
“Y/L/N Y/F/N, My name is Nezu. I am the principal at UA High School. I have come to propose a deal to you.” He reaches over and carefully unbuckles the cloth from your face letting it fall from the ground. “I can allow you to come to my school. You will be allowed to stay in the dorms as you learn to be a hero. Though it would mean you would never be allowed to kill or let the other students know of your past. You will be cared for and taken care off in every possible way. You will even have an allowance from me as your primary caregiver.” He looks at you awaiting your answer now.
Adjusting a bit and rubbing your jaw on your shoulder. A small thought telling you to lunge forward and fight him. Fight your way out and run for freedom. Yet he was offering you something you only thought of in dreams. “What are the other terms of this so-called deal?” You snarl as your words drop like heavy stones over a quiet river.
“Your rules are to be simple. You are to study and have good grades. I expect you to stay out of trouble and not fight with others. Obviously no law breaking and that so far what I expect of you right now.” Nezu speaks softly and looks at you. “Your teachers and the staff at the school will know of your past. The last request I have is that you see a therapist three times a week. So do you accept it?” He asks.
Tilting your head back and looking at him. Your eyes glancing at him and then settling on the hero he captured you. “I even have the number. Wait.” You grin a bit and then lick your upper lip. “I’ll take you up on this, deal. I have stipulations myself though.” You kick your legs out in front of you. Sitting down with a thud. “I will never be chained or detained in such a matter again, in return I will never hurt anyone permanently. I am to have the basic human needs and wants. Clothes, food, water, etc.” Taking a breath and looking at them. “Deal. I get these then, and only then will I accept your deal.”
Nezu nods. “Agreed. Guards, please release my, now, child.” He smiles softly and turns around. The guard who earlier opened the door walks in taking the cuffs in hand. Unlocking them and looking at you in disgust. Smiling a bit you look at him. Waiting for him to look away and you growl flinching forward causing him to jump back a bit.
“Stop that.” All Might spoke that time. Looking at you as he pulls you up. “Stand kid.” He wasn’t letting his guard down. Putting your feet under you and you look at him.
“I couldn’t help myself. It was too easy.” You shrug and rub your raw wrists. Swallowing a bit roughly as you walk out. Nezu leads you down the hallway to a visitor room.
“In here you will find four different sets of clothing to wear. Put them on and knock on the door three times. I will then open the door and we can leave.” Nezu says it simply.
Going inside you pull on the simple school uniform they had prepared for you. Two different styles provided for you yet basically the same. You chose to go with the (Long/Short) skirt. Doing an Eldridge knot for the tie and placing the gold pin in the middle. In truth you couldn’t wait to have a warm shower and cut your hair. You had gone a few weeks without either due to being put in solidary. Walking over you pull the tights on and look at the shoes. Once again four different sizes trying them on until finding the size you like and standing up. Walking to the door as you pull the jacket on. You knock on the door three times. In a way you felt uncomfortable. You had not yet shed your past self and the thought of freedom made you feel like you should run and keep going until you couldn’t no more. Until you could scream and let it all out with no one around. The door opens and yet you are still staring over your shoulder at the other uniforms left behind.
“Y/L/N? It is time we take you to your new life. I have to sign a few forms as do you and than we are done.” Nezu’s voice was soft and gentle. He reminded you of someone. You just couldn’t bring yourself to be vulnerable. Not yet, not when you were so close to having the life you had always secretly hoped for.
“Okay.” Nodding you begin to walk following them out signing the forms as you agree to the terms of your release. Even the smallest law break could send you back behind these walls. Your heart was hammering and your mind was racing even more as you tried to control your anxiety that had finally shown. Now you were onto better things and moving up. Your only hope was that you wouldn’t fuck it all up.
I hope you like this! Please keep in mind I suck at tags. So if there are tagging suggestions let me know! Also please if you want to be mentioned in my updates just let me know by commenting, messaging, or asking me! Thanks guys and hope you continue to read!
Arriving at the dorms you had zoned out most of the ride there. The outside world had changed. It looked gloomy even though the sun was out. The city’s hum of life vibrating through you. Closing your eyes as you take the time to just let freedom seep into your lungs. The car stops in front of the UA dorms. Your hands grip the edge of your skirt and your jaw tenses tightly. “Am I meeting everyone now?” Your voice trembles and your eyes widen a bit.
Nezu shakes his head. “No. Your class, 1A, is currently in classes so you will have a few hours to adjust. Though we need to go over a backstory as your classmates are not to know you were a villain.” He states it again, reminding you of what you had agreed too. Revenge on the people who had captured you would have to wait. Gain trust than execute and manipulate.
Toshinori nods and swallows a bit. “I will lead you to your room and show you around.” He opens the door and steps out. Allowing you to also leave the backseat. Scooting to the door and leaving the car you stand at your full height. Whatever fear and anxiety you had didn’t show easily. You were always tense and alert. Trained to be an assassin ment you needed these skills. Following Toshinori into the building. You let your thoughts run free.
Within two years you went from being a trained assassin to a mentally unstable criminally insane prisoner in one of the top rated prisons and now you were a student at a prestigious school for heroes. Looking around the bare white walls throughout the building you let yourself count how many footsteps it took to get everywhere. Mapping the place just as you had been trained. If this was some kind of trick you were going to play along until you couldn't anymore.
Looking up as a door is opened and stepping inside you smile softly. “My room?” You ask in disbelief. Nezu had pulled out all the stops. Giving you a wall that was covered in a black board. How did he know you liked art? Looking to the other side is where you froze. Your guitar was still intact. You could write and compose your music again. Write the poems and songs you always wanted too. Swallowing roughly as Toshinori’s words fell on your death ears. “Can I have a moment alone?” You needed just a few seconds to stop yourself from crying. How? How long had you been being watched? What did they know? How far up shit creek were you? Swallowing you stepped in again and set your hands on your desk closing your eyes. “How…” You whisper.
“I am guessing we have overwhelmed you.” Toshinori spoke and you jumped moving quickly to face him, your hands pulling into a boxer stance. “Easy. I didn’t mean to scare you.” He smiles softly.
“A bit... Where? How? I…” Taking a breath you balance your spinning thoughts and look at him. “How do you have everything I left back with the people who captured me? Takahashi’s were the only ones who knew or had this stuff. I was sure to be careful not to show this side of me in prison.” Looking at the hero, you still couldn't believe he was the one to capture you that night. The night Stain, The Hero Killer, came to a bigger light was the night All Might also caught you. You were stupid enough to go agaisnt what you were told and that was what got you caught.
“Nezu and I did a lot of digging. Found them and it is one of the reasons you are currently free. You were raised to be what you are and Nezu believes we can…” He stops as you cut him off.
“Believe you can fix what society broke. I get it. I am a kid who was raised to use my quirk in a way most do not approve of.” You state it simply and look away. “I am not saying it will work. I am not promising that the thought of killing people will leave my mind. I promised I wouldn’t kill anyone and that I would follow through on my end of the deal as long as you hold your end of the deal up.” You look away and he nods.
“I am going to leave you alone but the papers on your desk. Study them, they are going to be your backstory. You need to know it from front to back. Make it…” Once again you cut him off.
“Trust me I don’t need you to tell me how to take on an identity.” You grab the papers as he walks out leaving your door open as you lean against your desk. “Learn your new life and grab the bulls by the damn horns.” You whisper beginning to read the paper.
~~Dear Y/F/N,
I am sure you have found I know a good amount about you. I need you to know this is to help you adapt here. Your room is soundproof as well as monitored to be sure you do not leave it unannounced just as the other students are. I hope as time goes on you learn you can trust me and the others here. We are all here to help you learn what you should have to begin with.
Enough with formalities though, you need a backstory. I have prepared a rough idea and I need you to keep to it as much as possible. I trust you with this as going against this would mean going against our contract or deal.
Your mother’s name is Tsubaki Nakatsukasa, she passed away in a car accident and you then moved in with your father at twelve years old who lived in the America’s. You still have his last name but are working on changing it to your mother’s maiden name due to your own preferences. Your father is still in America and works at several different jobs as you landed a scholarship to come here as I am good friends with your father. Besides this you can make up anything. You do not have siblings and anything about your previous training is to stay silent.
Sincerely your principal,
Nezu~~
You nodded softly knowing now more than ever how easy this was going to be to fuck up on. Leaning back a bit you close your eyes. Only to hear an annoying buzzing sound on your desk. Opening your eyes you see a phone. Grabbing it you answer it.
“Hello?” You ask and swallow a bit confused on if the phone was yours.
“Oh good! You do have the phone. I wanted to let you know I am bringing you some clothes I believe they should fit based on your uniform and such.” The voice on the other line took you a second to place. It was Nezu.
“Oh alright sir. I read the backstory. I can operate with this but there might be loopholes within this story…” You state it and could hear a small laugh escape him.
“Do not worry. I am bringing the clothes by and your classmates will be arriving shortly after.” He states and hangs up.
Taking a deep breath you look at yourself in the mirror. You looked like a hobo in a uniform. Deciding on a shower you grab the tolietars that were provided for you and went to the showers to get ready. Finally getting showered you took a week's worth of dirt and grime off. Getting dressed in the school uniform again and stretching a bit. You were worn out and wanted to fall asleep. One thing you knew you needed to be careful of was anyone seeing the scars that covered your body. Some from knives and others from a whip that's bite was worse than anything else you could imagine. Sitting in your room you kept your knees in your chest. Not fully knowing when you had fallen asleep in the desk chair.
“Y/L/N, It is time to wake up.” Nezu softly taps your leg and it cause you to jerk. The chair no longer supporting you as it topples backwards and you follow it. Laying there you growl softly.
“Sorry…” You grumble getting up and he hands you bags of clothing.
“These are for you. I belive you will like them. Also I put a card it will have fifty dollars put on it every week. You may use the money any way you wish.” He states it simply. “ However it is time you meet your classmates now.”
I hope you like this! Please keep in mind I suck at tags. So if there are tagging suggestions let me know! Also please if you want to be mentioned in my updates just let me know by commenting, messaging, or asking me! Thanks guys and hope you continue to read!
Your hair was a mess. Your hands covered in pastel colors and even neons now stained your white and grey uniform. Looking at the sketch on the wall you wanted to hit it and do what you normally would when this panicked. Fight. That was everything you needed. That stupid knocking on your door made it worst. Turning you grab the handle jerking the door open seeing a solid chest as you roar loudly. “What?!” Tensing up as your head jerks up meeting his ruby eyes and the grimace on his face was clear he wasn’t pleased with your tone or volume.
“You left before anyone could say anything, dumbass.” He looks at you, his arm slightly above his head leaning on the door frame efficiently keeping your door open. Holding your hands behind you one to hide the shaking of them and to avoid him seeing your dyed hands.
“Yeah… Just had some women problems.” Lying to try to get yourself out of this already horrid situation.
“You got called a villain yet did nothing to prove any of us wrong. Why?” Hearing him you begin to think you are found out. No! Not yet, not after only a few hours of freedom.
“Fuck off. If all you did was come to gloat you can leave.” Stepping back to shut your door he puts the toe of his shoe in the way.
“Look I just get how it feels to be treated like the one who is the villain.” He growls and pushes the door open a bit into you. Opening the door and letting him in as you step away from the door. Holding your arm and looking down. He walks in and sighs. “I know I am not the easiest to get along with. I know I am definitely an asshole. However you got a quirk that happens to be useful…” He sees the art wall and stops a bit. “You did that?” He asks.
“Yeah… How I calm down…” Stating it and looking at the wall as you close your door. “America… I was classified as a level A priority. The government constantly watched me because my quirk was more likely to be used for villainous acts.” Tilting your head back you grin a bit. Would he fall for the lie? Would you be okay for another day?
“Well prove them wrong dumbass. So what is it supposed to mean?” He points to the drawing and you smile softly.
“Nothing really. I did what I felt. Trapped, betrayed, lost maybe. I don't know, I kinda just grabbed it and went for it.” He reaches over and grabs one of your chalks. Looking at the board he writes Hero over your scribbles.
“Do not forget it again extra.” He grabs your wrist and puts the chalk into your hand. “If you need me just head over to my room.” He turns and walks off. Leaving you only with your thoughts as you stare at what he wrote over your art.
----------------------------------------
Hours had passed since Bakugou came to you. You still sat looking at your art wall. Before he came in it was covered in anger and fear… A dark and eerie sunset with two silhouettes of what seemed to be people miles apart. Each of the shadows holding a puzzle piece of the others. You were trying to figure out what to do. Why do you always draw the same two people? Both holding a piece of one another? Yet this one was different.
Within the clouds words were able to be seen, Failure, aggressor, fake, murderous, Villain, shady, and corrupt were all able to be seen on the left with the shadow figure who seemed to be fighting with something. Around them were fiery colors that blended into them but burst out like a volcano. On the right side different words were able to be seen; bold, fearless, brave, and stubborn. The shadow on this side though was covered with soft colors. Letting them out like a gentle river over her side of the wall. Though Bakugo’s rounded and scratched word seems to connect the two together. Laying on the floor your head pounding with trying to figure it out.
“What am I doing? Why take a stupid deal when you barely know how to act like a normal teenager? Only reason you blend in here is because they are beyond traumatized you dumbass.” You growl and stand up trying to shake the feeling you have in your gut. Opening the door to your balcony and stepping onto the concrete. Closing your eyes and sitting on the chair that was placed out on there for you. Watching the trees as you control your breathing forces yourself to relax. A loud knock is heard and you jolt. “Coming?!” You hollar and get up only for the door to already be opening and sure enough it was Uraraka.
“Hey Tsuyu caught me up on what happened. Aizawa-Sensei is not always the easiest and he tends to test us like that all the time. Not that any of us agree but he does have our backs always.” She walks over you. Shrugging in response to her.
“I am fine. Nothing I am not used to.” You really were used to being treated as a villain. You were disgruntled at yourself for believing they would all treat you like equals.
“Well I brought some sweet melon buns home and Bakugo is making some Tonkatsu. He is a really good cook, should we all count on you joining?” She asks.
She was caring and maybe you could trust her to let her be your friend. “Yeah, I will just change and wash my uniform first.” You smile at her and she nods.
“Awesome! I will let the others know. Deku has so many questions for you!” She chuckles and you groan.
“Nerd boy wants answers… Ugh.” Rubbing your head knowing you would have to give everyone some sort of explanation.
----------------------------
Walking down from starting your laundry you were in a simple t-shirt with the phrase PLUS ULTRA across it. In truth you hated it. Wearing the ones merch who put you behind bars. You wouldn’t even be here if it wasn't for that smiley obnoxious symbol of peace. Your pants were just a simple burgundy Victoria Secret sweatpants. You still tied your hair into a bun as you walk in and everyone smiles and waves. You give a small two finger wave and walk into the kitchen getting a glass of water and closing your eyes a bit just as a hand lands on your shoulder. Turning rigid and snapping your head to the owner of the hand only to see Deku. “Hey so what is your quirk?” He asks and smiles a bit happily.
“I will tell everyone as long as they are…” You are cut off as the kitchen and common areas all become deathly silent. “Nevermind I take it you all want to know…” You sigh and could hear Bakugo behind you even stop to listen. “You all look like a group of preschoolers sitting for story time. Look I will answer all your questions but let me get the basics out.” They all nod and everyone begins to gather in the kitchen. Sitting down and looking at you some worried and concerned while others were curious and cautious.
“My quirk is called Bone Marrows manipulation.” You let it sit in before continuing. “I can change the form of your bones and such just by the blood within it. So for example.” You hold your hand up and touch your forearm and shatter it with ease. Naturally you wince and everyone in the room stands up. Re-touching it you put every tiny piece back in place. “With one touch I can break and heal my opponent over and over. However different blood types will change how effective it is. I am most effective with O-.” You look at them and some nod understanding now. “I can only touch up to two people now and it will be effective. Though for the test that happened as you saw I have a lot of fighting experience. I took lessons in boxing, Muay Thai, Jiu-Jitsu, and several other mixed martial arts and self defence classes. So I learned quickly how to touch and not to always rely on my quirk. So yes some of you I never used my quirk on and I should have but I have to have skin to skin contact and many of you I never got the chance. I am most vulnerable to long distance shots, the reason why you Shoto were able to get an upper hand…” You stop as you watch their reactions.
“So you have a quirk but you are saying you do not care to use it to get the job done?” Kirishima asks you. You nod in response letting everyone else begin to ask their questions.
“So fighting a big group for you is it tiring?” You nod.
“You all kept me on my toes. Not physically as you saw I have a pretty high pain tolerance but mentally is a different story. I have to think ahead and be ahead without letting you know I am planning. Giving that and adding variables of more quirks it pushes my head beyond limits.” Sipping your drink softly you could feel the anger of some of them.
“Come get it while it is hot you damn extras!” His shout is undeniable, everyone getting up and beginning to make their own meals. Though unlike the first night you were here most retreat to their rooms or to their friend groups. You grabbed your bowl and made your plate only to turn and head straight for your room. No one stops you as you go.
Retreating behind your door once again though before you close someone speaks out. “Hey Y/L/N can we join?” Sure enough it was the Bakugou Squad. Mina was the one who spoke though and you nod.
“Sure uh I dont have alot of sitting area though.” You say it and they all shrug and walk in behind you. Jiriu follows suit behind Denki. You smile softly and sit down on your desk chair. Fold your legs together as you start to eat, not saying much to them.
“You know you can always join us and our group. We aren't exactly like the others but we look out for one another.” Kirishima says it past a mouthful and you nod.
“Thanks but I think I am still just not used to all the differences from America to here.” You look out your balcony doors and smile softly. At least out here you could breath and see the sun. Though you didn’t notice Bakugou was still studying your art.
Catching onto a few words that played through the clouds he tenses up. Eating his food a bit faster and watching you like a hawk. Why did you use such words? Did you even know you did? Yet the smile you got during training. He had definitely seen it before. On the ones everyone here was swearing to put away. How could someone like you be involved?
Time passes and soon you find that you are dangerously close to passing out. Even with them in your room playing a game of Uno. Moving out onto your balcony. You sat down on your recliner. You were actually enjoying their fighting and loudness. Happiness was such a different thing to you and seeing it maybe you could mimic it easier. Moving your legs into the chair with you as you watch the trees around you. “Oi! Extra.” Knowing the voice you roll your eyes a bit and lean your head up to catch him only to see he was looking out to the tree line too.
“What is it blondie?” You ask and yawn a bit.
“If you are tired just tell us. Jesus don't be such a dumbass.” He grumbles and you smile a bit.
“Na it doesn't bother me. I will pass out at some point with or without you guys here.”
“Tsk. I’m taking these dumbass extras out then. Get some sleep.” He turns as he shakes his head. You couldn;t help but turn and watch him gather the others with ease and shoo them out. Leaving you in the empty room now. Though you stay on your balcony slowly drifting into sleep.

A month had finally passed. You found yourself with Bakusquad more and more as days went on. Jirio and Denki had finally started dating and the best part of it was Denki actually worked hard to form the relationship with her. Even getting guitar lessons from you so he could impress her. You were just glad you found some people you could let yourself go with. Though you had to admit Kirishima and you were both growing close though wherever he went Bakugo and Mina weren’t far behind. You even grew closer to the arrogant TNT. Fact you both were studying often together and he often came to your dorm, not that they all didn’t. Your room had become the sweet hangout mainly because Nezu had altered your room to not have a closet. You were getting comfortable and that sense of security felt like a heated blanket on a blizzard night.
Today was no different than every other Sunday. You sat outside on your balcony music playing as you typed away on a few assignments. You were passing every class with high scores and was sailing to the top ten. You didn’t really care where you were as long as you kept up your end of the deal. Nezu pretty much left you alone. You were sitting and as the song Snowman by Sia came on you began to softly sign it. Your dorm door was cracked. You had given up keeping it closed as Mina and Denki almost never knocked. You let the melody of the song move through you as you stand up. The long sleeve crop top you have on complemented well with your baby blue mid thigh skirt. You turn and walk into your dorm finally losing your composure and singing your favorite verse of the song. “I want you to know that I'm never leaving 'Cause I'm Mrs. Snow, 'til death we'll be freezing. Yeah, you are my home, my home for all seasons. So come on, let's go. Let's go below zero and hide from the sun. I love you forever where we'll have some fun. Yes, let's hit the North Pole and live happily, Please don't cry no tea…” You freeze as you hear a husky voice join from your desk and your head snaps to the voice.
“Oh come on don’t stop.” The insult was not there but his cocky toothy smile came into sight and rubies looked at you. You smack his arm
“You scared the shit out of me you ass!” You growl turning away and dipping your head down. You’re cheeks flushed red as you rub your face softly. “What are you doing here?” You ask as you lean against the door frame to the balcony.
“The dumbasses are all going out to the movies. I am not able to leave campus due to some shit that happened. They wanted me to see if you are able to leave campus.” He stands up and walks over to you. Towering over you in an attempt to intimidate you.
“I can’t. I got that paper from Mic to do and few other things to finish up. Plus I would have to ask my guardian, our principal, I would just prefer not asking yet.” You really just didn’t know if you could handle that. Handle that many people at once or the enclosed space. Not just yet. You rather play it safe than dive head first and break yourself.
He smiled softly. Sweetly actually and it caught you off guard. “Well extra why don’t you just meet me outside at 6? We won’t leave campus.” He once again only called you extra.
“Okay deal. Should I change?” You ask and smile a bit. “As in I should be in something different?” Your lungs stop working as his eyes wander down your body. The right side of his lip pulling upwards.
“That is your choice extra.” He turns and leaves. Once he leaves you stand there a bit dumbfounded.
“Did he? Did I?” You mumble. Mina walks in and you smile a small bit but your brows are still gathered together.
“Hey girlie! So… What is with the face?” She asks and you shake your head.
“Nothing Mina. What’s up?” You ask and she smiles.
“Bakugou said you couldn’t make it wondering what I could help you with is all.”
“Does Bakugo seem different to you?” You chew on the inside of your lip softly.
“Where is this coming from?” She wiggles her eyebrows at you.
“Well he kinda just uh asked me on a…” You stutter trying to figure out what to call it.
“A DATE?!” She shouts and you reach up and cover her mouth.
“Mina! Shut the hell up!” You growl and she chuckles.
“Oh! And they even moved your room to our floor!” She smiles and bounces on her heels.
You shake your head. “Shut it Mina. They moved me only because Mineta screwed with the locks on the second floor.” You state it and fold your arms.
She rolls her eyes. “Oh fine. I will stop then. But I want details later.”
You roll your eyes and shake your head as you push her out. “Go talk with Kiri. I have to study.” She chuckles and nods leaving. You close your door and sigh.

It had been a few days since the incident and you had begun to find your citizen legs. You had even made a few friends. Sitting in your room on the only day off, Sunday. You sat on your balcony, your door barely cracked, you had your guitar on your lap mindlessly thumbing at the strings. A soft knock comes onto your door and you smile gently. “It is open.” You say it and softly adjust making it so you could see who was coming in.
Shoto walks in and smiles. “Hey, Y/F/N do you have notes for english? I got behind due to my internship.” You nod and point to your desk.
“Should be the yellow notebook. I am all caught up so you can take it.” You smile a bit and he looks to the art wall. You still hadn’t cleaned it up since your test. He smiles a bit at it and walks over to you.
“Mind If I just sit and copy it?” You shake your head.
“No it’s okay. How is the internship?” You ask and tilt your head. He rolls his eyes.
“Be better if my father would just forget that I am his trophy.” He growls and you press your lips.
“Sorry I asked.” He looks at you.
“Don’t be, I am learning exactly what not to do. Plus I know you said you don't have the greatest relationship with your father.” You nod and agree with him.
“Correct I don’t. After my mother passed he drowned himself in work and drank…” You move a bit and tune the guitar strumming again and humming softly a gentle tune you had learned recently.
“Sorry to bring it up.” You shrug.
“No biggy. You should be writing though finals are soon.” You smile a bit and he nods. Both of you sat there in silence for several minutes. Relaxing into the chair as you began to softly hum again as you got the tune right. For the dancing and the dreaming by Peter Hollens. Shoto looks up to you and smiles softly listening to you. He had grown to be close with you and you always tried to be nice even if you came off a bit rough at first. You lean back and he closes your notebook as he finishes his notes.
“That is a pretty song… May I ask what it is?” You blush and jump.
“OH GOD! You weren’t supposed to be listening to me!” You quickly set your guitar down and look at him. “Called For the Dancing and the Dreaming… Reminds me that you can always dream of a better place… Especially with good people.” You rub your arm a bit embarrassed someone had listened in and that you had forgotten he was here.
“I didn't mean to embarrass you.” He states it and smiles a bit. “You seem to like the artistic side of things.” You nod yes in response and he continues. “Your art wall. My sister used to draw a lot. I bet you two would get along.” He says it and you smile.
“You are more than welcome to take photos of it and send it to her.” You smile softly and he nods.
“When did you do it?” He asks.
“Um… My first day at school… When I showed my quirk…” You curl a bit uncomfortable now.
“Oh. Sorry I don't mean to bring this up..” He looks at the wall. “You struggle with who you are… According to that at least.” You look down not confirming or denying it. “Sorry I should shut up.” You nod a bit agreeing.
“Yeah probably.” You whisper. He reaches over and softly grabs your hand. You tense up and look at him.
“I am here for you whenever you need me. I know most of the people you are friends with have unpredictable schedules but here.” He opens your notebook and writes his number down. “Or you can come to my dorm. I will at least listen. You aren’t alone.” He squeezes your hand and you nod softly.
“Thank you Shoto.” You smile and he nods. Standing up and leaving you alone in your room once again. Sitting there you lean back and nibble your lip.
