Man, it’s the first time i’ve drawn with colors by hand, but i’m happy with how this turned out. I guess those drawing classes paid off!

Xibalba is a dorky daddy, but also very tender and sweet when he wants to! And baby Marigold simply loves to cuddle in papi’s arms.

I don't mean to be pushy but I'm wondering is MHBTY going to be a 2 part story by ending with Chapter 54 and then continue in a sequel or do you have other plans for MHBTY???? :-)

it’s not over yet, i’ll continue to write it. What i mean to ask in that poll is if it SHOUKD have a sequel, or if’s perfect the way it is. Sure, i can make one-shots and spin-offs, but a sequel is another different thing. There are certain projects, like Frozen and Zootopia, who do NOT need sequels because they were a masterpiece, but are being turned into a franchise because of popularity. Seriously, i’ve seen masterpieces being ruined with lots of sequels because the stories are not even compared to the FIRST story.

Foreign Pantheons Headcannon

In case most of you have noticed, I’ve been tending to include other mythological, non-hispanic elements in my TBOL fics (e.g: the Egyptian Gods in MHBTY). I think that if the Aztec/Mayan Gods are still active, other pantheons could be too, though they only have minor roles for obvious reasons. I’m the type of person who likes multiculturalism to some extent. But i think i’ll share it with you. 

I think the currently active pantheons would be these:

- Aztec/Mayan Pantheon

- Egyptian Pantheon

- Japanese Pantheon

- Norse Pantheon

- Hindu pantheon

Active pantheons are also known as ‘Formal Pantheons’, they are composed by gods belonging to the respective cultures, not including minor demons and spirits. Though they don’t interact as much with humans as they used to do in ancient times, they continue with their duties to keep the natural balance. Most of them won’t take interest in human affairs, unless they are trickster gods (like Xibalba).

These would be the inactive, or extinct, pantheons. 

- Greek/Roman pantheon

- African pantheon

- Incan Pantheon

The disappearances of these pantheons is a mystery. No one knows what happened that made all those gods disappear, though most think the Greek pantheon was exterminated for their leader, Zeus, creating too many offspring with humans and upsetting the balance. This is active pantheons are so strict with the Ancient Rules.

Then there the minor pantheons, which consist not of actual gods, but spirits who have achieved great spiritual power, and are considered gods by humans even though they are not. 

- Hawaiian Spirits

- Slavic Pantheon

- Native American Spirits

As for interactions, most pantheons will avoid interacting with each other, since their cultural powers and beliefs are too different. However, there are a few gods *cough*Xibalba*cough* who don’t mind interacting with different pantheons, though their loyalty will remain to their birth pantheon. Minor pantheons will usually not meddle in the Formal Pantheon’s affairs, unless their actions have a direct effect on their jurisdiction.

I couldn’t help it! I JUST had to draw Xibalba in a cloak after writing that part in the latest chapter of MHBTY. I swear, his mouth makes thing difficult both for gags and scarves!
