I must say that the @malayheritage has had interesting light ups this year. Its grounds lent itself well to it. They had one interesting installation that unfortunately launched just before another shut down, and the structure didn't last when Singapore finally reopened. The light painting 🎨 artists @stanley_chee @jojolau88 LAP LIP 2021: MAHKOTA By @space.objekt @reza.hasni Ended: 13 June 2021 #mhcislit The Lap Lip installation was an MHC platform where artists are invited to reimagine how the traditional Hari Raya light decorations can be. For this year's installation, MHC worked with Tina Fund of Space Objekt to bring an immersive and engaging space that draws inspiration from the past and future. The structure is inspired by the architectural landscape of Kampong Gelam, with patterns inspired by Malay motifs designed by local artist Reza Hasni. In the centre of the installation is a space for reflection, with soundscapes that transport visitors to the vibrant bazaars of past Ramadans. #malayheritage #mhcishereforyou #NationalHeritageBoard #lightpainting #longexposure #Olympus #lightpaintingphotography #lightpaintingart #malayheritagecentre #SgMuseum #museumsg #sgculture #NationalMonumentSG #SGMonuments #VisitSingapore #PassionMadePossible #lovinsingapore #SingaporeInsiders #wonderlustsingapore #whatissingapore #ExploreSG #igsg #instasg #Sgig #sgheritage (at Malay Heritage Centre) https://www.instagram.com/p/CVNxBjBhDEQ/?utm_medium=tumblr
