MHGY to the Rescue

A village on the outskirts of the kingdom- recovering losses and taking out bandits and Grimm- they were feeling like real huntsman and huntresses. Koko had even changed her outfit slightly to allow for better mobility, opting for a shorter skirt that only covered her backside and actual leggings tucked into her boots. Still, it seemed Mika was the only one with even a speck of actual armor on her.

When they landed outside the base, Mika lead the rest out of the airship.

Puck was reluctant to leave the vehicle, just as he was reluctant to sit with the others instead of up in the cockpit with the pilot. However, as much as he enjoyed the feeling of flight, the real thrills were about to start!

"Is Major Ymir here?" Mika asked one of the patrolling soldiers as they neared the base. Kira stood a bit behind her with Puck and Koko on either side. "We're ready for whatever he needs us to do."

Team Tea Time!

Koko led Puck into the building. “Okay, we’re all set~! I’ve just completed the finishing touches~! So, as you know, we’ll have the cafe all to ourselves and the workers were gracious enough to let us move the rest of the tables and chairs out of the way, so it’s just the one area here in the middle, then there’s the bar and kitchen off to the... northwest- your left- and then in the back is the restrooms~! Of course, I made sure this location only had single-stall restrooms for your personal convenience~. It’s not the fanciest of places, but the frames on the walls give it an elegant feel, and the chairs are quite lovely with little curls to their designs. I may actually speak to Father about adding something like this to our Hotels....”

Puck, meanwhile, was feeling his way around to familiarize himself with the layout. “Huh.... Cool. Thanks, Koko. I still think this is a bad idea, but maybe it won’t be too-” he bumps into a chair and starts feeling around the table, his hands gliding over the backs of chairs as he went. “One, two.... Um... Koko? ... Why are there eight chairs...?”

Koko giggles and sits herself down daintily, straightening her skirts in her seat. “Well, I didn’t think it’d be fair for us not to have everyone~! I mean, we’ve only met half their team-”

“-which is fine-”

“-and they’ve yet to meet the rest of ours, as well~! I thought it’d be a wonderful way to really get to know each other.” She then remembers something and hops out of the seat again, heading towards the kitchen.

“Koko, I-”

“Hey, guys~!” Mika saunters in with Kira close behind, looking almost business-casual, which was the closest Koko could get her to elegant. She looks around at the cafe. “Ooh, it’s pretty quaint in here~! Cozy. I think this’ll be fun.” She grins over at Puck and walks up to him, putting a hand on his arm. “Don’t worry, if you need help getting around, just let me know. I’ll make sure it doesn’t look too awkward~.”

Puck lets out a deep sigh and gives her a small smile. “Thanks, Mika. ... Hey, what time is it? When’s the other team getting here?”

Koko finished speaking with the chefs and waiters to get their orders started and skips back over to the group. “Well, I scheduled things with Mister Cheshire so they should be arriving in about ten minutes, give or take. I wanted to allow us time to get adjusted to the area. It’s...” she pulls out her scroll, then blinks at the time. “Oh. I may have miscalculated~. They could arrive at any moment~!”

Mika helps Puck sit and takes a seat beside him. Kira sits on the other side of Mika, facing the door, while Koko stands at the ready for the others to arrive.

Koko gasped loudly, light yellow eyes wide as she reached up to shake her partner's shoulder, staring through the crowd at a girl with luxuriously wavy dark hair, purple eyes, and a rather blank look on her face. Koko whispered harshly, "Don't look now-"

"Not a problem." Puck interjected with a curt nod, waiting for her to finish her thought.

"-but I think that's- it's- the Nava Lavender!"

"Whoa, really?" He tilted his head in genuine interest, casting his dark steel-blue eyes down to his glowing white partner. "Exciting. Which blob of color is she?"

"We're getting an autograph." She grabbed his hand, fiercely dragging him along. He stumbled a second over a crack in the sidewalk, but quickly righted himself.

"Cool," he smirked, striding along behind her.
