Starting to put together a Top Moments of the Last 10 Electric Forests post for @electrojams, which involves a great deal of sorting through old photos, notes, coverage, and fuzzy memories. I was thinking of trying to create a Top Actual Moments list, but I’m not sure how to establish that measure objectively, so I’m just going to go with my version instead. It’s been a wild ride since that first ambitious weekend in 2011. Aside from the String Cheese Incident (pictured here (kinda)), the biggest constant at the Forest is change, whether you like it or want it or not. That’s not a bad thing, but it is A thing. Don’t get too attached to any one thing (unless it’s Bassnectar I guess) because at some point it WILL be replaced. Spoiler alert: Somewhere in this 2014 photo is one of my top moments.
