can we talk about how mu qing (southwest, 573) and feng xin (southeast, 572) the gods of the south had combined more lanterns than jun wu? (961 < 1145)

like pei ming, the sole god of the north has 580 lanters (though that year his went down, so i assume it's usually somewhere in the 600ths)

or quan yihzen with 421.

how come both mu qing and feng xin with only half a direction have so many lanterns?

is it just because of their contest? (like the follwers drive eachother to buy more to spite each other?)
