Hello, lovelies!! It’s hard for us to believe, but today, August 6th, 2017, marks one year since our former Admin Jaerim welcomed us both as Mod Woo and Mod Gyu. It’s crazy to think that we’ve been watching over our home for so long already— We know that over the past year, there have been some tough times and that MI has gone through a lot of changes both aesthetically and structurally, and we’re incredibly grateful to you all, old and new, for being a part of MI’s growth and our family for the past 365 days. It’s thanks to all of you that we have such an incredibly fun time running Murder Inc., and we’re just as excited — if not more! — to see where the future takes us in the years to come.
So, to celebrate the past year and all of that fun we’ve had, we’d like to invite you all to take part in the second iteration of mi:playlist! Some of you may have already made playlists for the mini event last time around, or for your own enjoyment in the mean time, but this time, it’s a little different.
In honour of all the development our muses have gone through in the past year, your mission is to create a playlist based around anything your muse has experienced in that time. Anything from August 6th 2016 to August 6th 2017 is fair game — be it the life-changing decision to pledge your allegiance to a gang or that one time they got a little too drunk and tried to do The Worm and failed; anything goes! Perhaps your muse met the love of their life this past year or made a mortal enemy, or perhaps they grew even closer to their best friend or reunited with a family member — feel free to make a playlist about their relationships, too; NPC or otherwise!
As always, this event is completely optional and open to all members, no matter how long you or your muse have been here. We treasure every single one of you and we look forward to seeing what you guys create! Make sure to tag all your playlists (make as many as your heart desires!) with mi:playlist as before, so that we and all the members can find them with ease. There’s no deadline for this event either; you’re always welcome to let your creativity roam free! If you have any questions, please direct them to the main or our IMs over on Mingyu or Wonwoo.
Thank you again for the past year. It is truly the highest honour to be your admins, and we have both loved every second of it. It fills us both with a lot of joy knowing that MI is a home to so many of us, and we’re incredibly grateful for everyone who has been part of it, past, present, and future.
