ok but listening back to the stream (specifically star-conquering traveler) is making me emotional because like. im sure there are plenty of non-kirby fans out there who dont think that this series deserves such a big celebration but it really really does. a lot of people see kirby as some sort of shallow franchise that just cashes off of being cute but there so much more to it. its complex, its interesting, its heartwarming, its heart-wrenching, its touched my heart and the hearts of so many others. i have never found a piece of media that makes me feel the warmth and comfort and excitement that kirby does. and it deserves a beautiful concert that reflects all of these emotions and gives it the spotlight it deserves so much

#also i just got to the end of star-conquering traveller as i finished typing this and it kinda makes me want to cry #idk man i dont know how to articulate this well but the point is #the concert was very very VERY good and does a perfect job representing the series and everything it stands for #mia mumbles #kirby
