It is a big day in women's sports! Tweet away to support:)
From Nike:
June 23, 2012 marks the day that represents 40 years of access to sport for female athletes throughout the country. It's the day that a piece of legislation broke barriers, created opportunities and changed the rules. We ask you to help us inspire the future generations of athletes. Together, we need to continue to make the rules; Rules that to enable equal access for all athletes for generations to come. From 6/19 through 6/23 we will launch our Make the Rules campaign, meant to motivate and inspire athletes to play and celebrate sports, and the rules that enabled them. Through a film, digital activation, and events in key cities we'll get communities rallied around this very special moment, 40 years in the making. ON JUNE 23: We invite you to show your support on by tweeting a message to #maketherules. Feel free to share your own message, whether it's about
* The rules you live by as an athlete
* Athletes you are inspired by
* People who have helped you as an athlete - your coach, your mom, your trainer
Here's one of my biggest inspirations, Justine Henin. I will never forget that US Open of 2007.

I'm going to an event later tonight in honor of the #maketherules campain. Super excited. Should be packed with cool workouts.
What's your rule you live by? Feel free to drop a comment. Mine would have to be: "You are so much stronger than you think you are."
Day 1 Phase 1 DVD 1
Well, I know one thing for sure: I need heavier weights.
I was glad that I got through it without a problem. Some of the balance exercises were a little more challenging, but all in all it felt like a bit of a breeze, even with the advanced versions. You can tell Jillian raised me right.
I'm looking for ward to the other DVDs in phase one. I've been reading testimonials from other people, and they could barely move they were so sore after starting phase two.
I kinda am looking forward to it, just to see how much of it I can do and how far I can push myself.
I've been taking two pretty intense classes at my gym: S.E.T and Nike Training Club. Grueling workouts and I do phone them in at times, but I'm trying my hardest to stay focused and forget my limits. I can definitely see and feel the improvements. Every week I go a little further, I push just a little harder. I intend to do the same with Body Revolution.
If I'm serious about becoming a certified PT (which I am, of course), then I better look the part, right?
