is my birthday AND Mother's Day, so it was really rough to catch the news the #BettyWright passed away (just one day after finding out about Little Richard, a week after Millie Small, and a couple of weeks after Bill Withers, etc). It really does feel like we're living in a "Circle of Heartbreaks" right now. Just featured her killer live version of "Where Is the Love" on my 1970s Dream Concert on KMHD last thursday!
