Today was Christmas and I have pretty much waited all day to write this because I could not stop thinking about it.

James would play pool, or know how to play pool is a better wording for it. He would be thumping good at it too. He could call shots before drawing back and getting the ball clean in. Barely any effort on his part. I bet the Potters even had a pool table. Once Sirius got in on the game he wanted to be just as good as James but literally no one, and I mean no one could stand up to that man in a match. He would lick his lips and reposition and it would be a rarity to ever see him miss a shot. It would've been so aggravating for Sirius to lose time and time again and it got so aggravating in fact that the boy almost never agreed to play with James, as is the same for everyone else who knew of his insane skills with the silly muggle game.

Stop now if you don't wanna hear about the Regulus x James headcanons I have concocted in my brain.

You cannot tell me Regulus would not think this is the hottest thing ever. I mean, granted, I'm pretty sure everything that James does Regulus is internally drooling over. But think of him, leaning against something, standing idly by watching as James absolutely massacres anyone who challenges him. With absolutely no remorse might I add; I mean the man is a monster. You couldn't tell me that Regulus wouldn't let his eyes wander as James bends over the pool table to angle his shot just right. You couldn't pay me to believe that just as James is licking his lips in concentration Regulus isn't biting down on his own in frustration; Regulus can keep his cool, he's been living his whole life bottling down and hiding his emotions but when it comes to James, loosening his tie as he gets deeper into the game, possibly shooting Regulus winks right before he takes a shot, him bending down, stretching, leaning, grinning ear to ear, and most definitely getting a little too drunk, Regulus would most definitely loose some of his composer, if not all once they were alone.
