☀ : Favorite season(s)

“I like all the seasons, but here’s my preference order.

My top favorite is Spring. There’s just something about the promise of new life that it just heart warming. We see the most colors this time of year, I love the smells of Spring, the trees and the flower in bloom and the rain. Speaking of rain, around here it’s the prime time for thundershowers and forgive me if it’s cliche for a Digimon with lightening powers to like thunderstorms. 

Second favorite is Autumn, I consider it the opposite of of Spring in many ways, but its also quite similar. Where Spring is like the beginning of a cycle, autumn is like the end. The leaves start changing color and it starts to get colder, but there’s a beauty in it that makes it feel more comforting than lonely. Knowing that Winter and Spring come next is kind of like seeing the world say “I’ll see you soon”

Then Winter for me feels like a resting period between the end of the cycle and when it begins again. Heavy snowfall can be inconveniencing and some winter storms seem to suck life away so the worst parts of Winter make me sad, but for the most part the world just seems to sit still in a very ethereal state of beauty and silence.

And lastly, I love a lot about summer, so don’t get me wrong putting it on the bottom like this. This is when the world seems the most alive to me, and bad things that happen in summer don’t seem quite as hopeless as they do in the dark of winter. Sadly, it gets really hot so I’m usually a sweaty mess with my fur clumping weirdly so I have to put it last on account that heat waves make me feel gross.”

Even if her methods were a little unorthodox, Aquilamon had to admit that his partner - no, MASTER - knew how to get what she wanted. Within few weeks going to the Digital World, she had managed to get extremely powerful digimons like Cherubimon and Astamon on her side. 

So, when she gave him orders to find a certain “Felesmon”, ex-underling of Lucemon, he immediately abode to it. Yes, they were under the risk of angering the the strongest of the Demon Lords but, if it was her, she’d probably find a way to bring him to her cause.

And after flying through the whole afternoon looking for Miaomon - Felesmon’s preferred form according to the Kaiserin - he finally spotted the pair of characteristic wing-like ears that indicated that his seach was over.

Aquilamon then landed next to the cat-like digimon and untied the letter on his leg with his beak to offer to him.

“Miaomon, right? I have an invitation from the Digimon Kaiserin-sama for you.”

♦ - quirks/hobbies headcanon

Quirk: 

If there’s any loud music playing, Cherubim’s ears will twitch to the beat, generally its just a subconscious thing that doesn’t mean anything, but if you see his eye is twitching in tune it means he hates it but doesn’t want to comment

Hobby:

Star gazing. He especially loves watching meteor showers and rare astronomical events like the three moons aligning and comets passing. He has a calendar of astronomical occurrences he likes to observe but it’s just a hobby, nothing he actively studies.
