may 15. day 253.
today we declared the mice infestation [hopefully] officially over. we deep cleaned the now empty storage closet (where the mice had their nests and majority of their mess) and vacuumed up all of their droppings. we washed all the cooking utensils that were on the counters in the kitchen. we swept and mopped the kitchen floor. and lastly, we put the kitchen table and chairs (that was living in the living room) back in the kitchen and we put all our storage and boxes and extra kitchen appliances and et cetera (that was living in the kitchen) back in the storage closet. we still have some traps out just to be sure, but have not seen any mice in the last week. here’s to feeling confident and reaching the light at the end of the tunnel!
and that is a miracle to me/us.
