I know shades are designed like colored shapes with hats for simplicity’s sake BUT WHAT IF IT WERE FOR DRAMA?!!! Like shades have this default mode until you build enough trust and they let you see their real(abeit ghostified) form?

The top was meant to be more purple but the gold gel pen works so much better than the gold sharpie.

Hello! This isn’t actually my main interpretation of the good shade(I plan on sending something else soon), but I noticed the shade silhouette reminded me of flappers and their floppy hats. And thus a character design was born! Why does a flapper Exist in Ancient Greece? Your guess is as good as mine!
