___ jophiel very carefully touched one of the swords zatanna had in the store. it belonged to one of his seraphim, probably lost in one of the rare times his legion was part of wars. he missed his, but had no reason to make it appear. "sorry. i'm not a magician with fishnets on my legs if that’s what you were looking for. but i can do a trick." he said as he made his wings disappear, smiling at his older brother when he entered the place. the store was a safe place, there he could walk with them freely. "did you know about this place, before coming to new york? i mean, there are too many things i recognize."

Being able to pick up her son from kindergarten was something Mack enjoyed doing when she could. Of course picking up the twins from school was also something she loved doing too. But being able to pick up her youngest, her baby boy, was something different. She made sure to love all three of her kids equally and she carved out time for them when she could. So picking up Ashton after school was their time together, a little time for them to hang out and for Mack to put all her focus on one child. Pulling up to the school in the designated pick up area, Mack hopped out of her Jeep and made her way over to where the other parents were congregating. She said her hellos and made some small talk with a few other parents when she noticed someone she had only seen a few times but knew Ashton was friends with his twins. "Hey, you're Huxley and Hayden's dad right?" She asked, hoping she wasn't mixing up parents.
“i’ve been looking for you!” scout exclaimed, making her way toward michael and linking their arms comfortably. her philosophy for getting to know people was to pretend as if she already did. she inclined her head and tugged at his arm lightly in a silent request for him to take a walk with her. “all of this is blowing my mind. i’m trying not to look like a deer in headlights about everything, but i just...” her eyes widened for effect, “i can’t help it. have you always gotten to go to stuff like this?” [ @mchaeleicn ]
margot shifted impatiently from foot to foot as she waited for michael to answer his door. she considered knocking again, even though she’d already done so seconds before, and was raising her fist to do just that when it swung open. her hand dropped to her side and a smile spread across her face immediately. “took you long enough,” she said with a teasing exasperation in her voice before she promptly threw her arms around his neck to pull him into a hug. “i’m sorry for coming by without any notice, but i found out where you lived from my staff and thought i might surprise you.” she finally let go of him and took a small step back. “is now alright?” [ @mchaeleicn ]
