HI EVERYONE!!! I am back with my thoughts on Hyperlove

I stayed up with my friend (who I got into MIKA) till midnight to listen to the album as soon as it dropped. (Jan 23, 12am) Both of us really liked the album!!! IT IS SOOO GOOD! Soo imma tell yall about how I feel about the album!

Before I say anything though, I gotta explain what the album’s about..

Hyperlove is about humans vs. machines and how people are so disconnected from themselves these days. Hyperlove is a word made by Mika to not just mean the love between people, but also the joy and euphoria you get from making art!

Here’s how I rate each song:

Hyperlove- 4/10

I don’t really like it but its cool tho!!! Love the start with the piano!!!

Modern Times- 10/10

I BEENNN loving it since he released it as a single! The driving bass🤤🤤🤤🤤

Spinning Out- 10/10

LOVE ITTT!!!! Only thing I didnt like is when be cuts “AND WHEN YOU SPIN OUT-“ at the end shorter than the live performance.

Excuses For Love- 2/10

YES I KNOW I KNOW alot of people like it but it’s just not my thing 😵‍💫 I don’t rlly listen to slow music.

All The Same- 8.5/10

I love the robot voice!!! Pretty catchy! :D

Dreams- 9/10

Ethereal and amazing its just *chef’s kiss*

Science Fiction Lover- 7/10

I like it but it’s also just not as upbeat as I wished it was xp

Take Your Problems With You- 1/10

I LOVE IT SM!!! Fav song of the album its such a feel good song X) It literally sounds like sunshine and rainbows I love ittt!!! The reporter was NOT lying when they said it was addictive btw 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 I’ve been replaying it and it’s been replaying in my mind since I heard it XD

Eleven- 7/10

ANYWAYSSS I love the harmonies in the song sm it’s pretty good!

Really good!!! I just don’t like the bridge 😅

The three interludes- 10/10

The music for them is nice and they’re so silly!! They really put you more into the story!

Immortal Love- 7/10

I like it but it’s too short Xp

I personally would rate this album a 10/10!!! It’s so full of soul and you can see how happy Mika was to make it. It’s alot different from his other albums and he himself said “It’s very different and it might just not work” but with this album, he leaped and did a couple flips and perfectly stuck the landing! All of these songs are genuinely really good, it all depends on your music taste.

Also, the ENTIRE album, including the visualizers are made to be picked apart and studied. BUTTT That would take too long for me though and this is just s review XD

My fav visualizers are for Eleven, Science Fiction Lover, Spinning Out, Bells, Dreams, and the interludes!!

If you didn’t like this album, that’s fine! Mika has a LOT of songs and several albums that you could listen to.

TY FOR READING MY THOUGHTS!!! I was going crazy about this album for like two years , I couldn’t be happier that it’s out! The wait was SO worth it!!!

An Ohio judge has upheld the state’s ban on gender-affirming care for transgender youth, as well as its ban on trans girls and women in women's sports. Two families of young trans people filed a lawsuit against the state's law in March after Ohio lawmakers passed the legislation in January by overriding Gov. Mike DeWine’s veto. The families argued that the law violates the Ohio Constitution because it deals with more than one subject — sports and health care — which goes against the single-subject rule. While the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas temporarily ruled in favor of the families in April, Franklin County Judge Michael J. Holbrook overturned its decision Tuesday, allowing the state's law to go into effect. Patients under 18 can no longer receive gender-affirming care, save for an exception allowing those already on the treatment to continue.

Holbrook wrote in his ruling that those “dissatisfied with the General Assembly’s determinations" must settle their grievances "through their vote as opposed to the judicial system.” “This is a devastating result for our clients and families like theirs across the state of Ohio," Harper Seldin, senior staff attorney at American Civil Liberties Union, said in a statement. "HB 68’s ban on medical treatments for gender dysphoria remains medically baseless and genuinely dangerous to the current and future well-being of transgender youth in the state. We are particularly appalled the court claims the ‘regulation of transgender individuals’ is a legitimate subject for the legislature under the state constitution."

In Moe v. Yost, Judge Michael Holbrook laws Ohio’s gender-affirming care ban for trans minors and trans women in women’s sports ban combo law (HB68) to take effect.
