The above video is a performance of the song "The Revolutionary Costume for Today" from the 2006 Broadway musical Grey Gardens. The show featured music by Scott Frankel, lyrics by Michael Korie, and a book by Doug Wright (Hands on a Hard Body) based on the 1975 documentary of the same name. It was nominated for ten Tony Awards, including Best Musical, and won three. This song is performed by Christine Ebersole, who won the Tony for Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical for her role as "Little" Edie Beale.
