Hello and welcome to this blog where I will be asking if you are familiar with various musicals. You will then have five answer options :
- Yes, I have been in it : if you’ve participated in a production of the show
- Yes, I have seen it : if you’ve seen the show live, a bootleg, a proshot, an amateur production, etc.
- Yes, I have listened to it
- No, but I’ve heard of it
- No, never heard of it
Disclaimer: I know that not every show is available for licensing, or even has available bootlegs or proshots, but I don’t know exactly which shows so every poll is getting every option, even if some are technically improbable
The definition of musical I use here is fairly wide, ie if it’s played on stage and majorly features song, I’ll probably accept it. Movie musicals are also accepted.
I will try to post 4 polls a day (at midnight, 6 am, noon and 6 pm). It is subject to change if I feel like it’s too much or too little.
FAQ: How do I vote if … ?
First of all, in all situations it’s really up to you, you know better than me how you feel about the musical/how well you know it
But, I keep getting asks about it so, here
if I only listened to some of the songs: if it’s only one or two songs, vote no. If you haven’t listened to the whole show but still to a pretty significant part of it, you can vote yes.
if i only saw the movie adaptation: yes!
I performed parts of the musical but not all of it: if you and the people you were performing with just played/sang one or two songs I’d say vote no. If it was part of say, a concert dedicated to the musical, sure vote yes.
