‘68 revisited

I was granted the opportunity to work with two very talented wonderful musicians, Josh Scogin and Michael McClellan, who collectively play as America’s most wanted duo: ‘68! I love these guys! They’re pretty wonderful people and play a great set, most notably never the same set twice! Josh is the duo frontman on guitar and vocals with Michael on the drum set. Josh always has a joke or two to woo the audience with in between songs. I first got the chance to work with these two southern gentlemen in 2014. They were getting ready to release their debut album, In Humour and Sadness, and looking for press images. I caught them in early May in San Diego and shot some stills for them, which you can see HERE, HERE , THERE or HERE. The internet is a large deep ocean, so I’m sure if you follow these guys even a little you’ve seen my images. (It even landed on a great shirt!) Flash forward to 2016, the boys in ‘68 are looking forward to releasing a new album within the next 20 years, so I asked to photograph these guys again on their SD stop with The Fall of Troy. I nabbed a couple shots before their set that night around the venue, the same venue I had shot them a little over 2 years earlier!

'68 is a two-piece band featuring Josh Scogin, vocalist and guitarist and drummer Michael McClellan. The duo stopped by Ace of Spades on the Disobedient tour with Stick to Your Guns and more.

They are hilarious and have a different sound that are on the tour.
