Happy to announce something I’ve been working on that’s finally become a physical reality. feels is a zine I’ve produced from submissions from all over the world celebrating the beauty of touch and feelings. As contributer Amanda Jasnowski beautifully summed up “without feeling there is nothing”.  It will launch on Friday May 1st with an accompanying exhibition - featuring a mix of images from the zine and not, at The Mill Gallery, and be available online shortly after. I HEARD THE ROAR AND THE GUST OF THE GULF BY MICHAEL MCCRAW I Heard the Roar and the Gust of the Gulf by Michael McCraw ( tinytinybirds ) is an ongoing body of work that considers his wife’s family, the stretch of land where the two grew up, “lands weathered by hurricanes. People by divorce and change.” With family, much like water we come back shaping and shaped and salty, eroding and one thing certain: family changes to stay the same.

Michael Christopher McCraw is a self-taught photographer from the Panhandle of Florida currently living in Atlanta, GA. His work deals with place and family. He has shown at the Ogden Museum of Southern Art and been featured on numerous online publications. He has a book out with Deadbeat Club Press.
