Emmy's Back !
I'm happy to write again about the regular NYR news. Not about the Bettmann, not about the lockout - not even about that Dog-walk thing. We're 9 days away from Training Camp and 16 days away from the first pre-season against the Devils - OR we are 4 days away from the #LOCKOUT. If the agreement is not ready on Saturday we have a lockout but for how long? Just for the training camp and pre-season? Season starts on Thanksgiving? There's so many questions but so few answers.
However, one thing is for sure. Rangers re-sign (D) Steve Eminger for 1-year/750K. Eminger, played just 42 regular-season (due to shoulder injury) games last season. He recorded two goals and three assists in those games. He also played four play-off games without any points.
Knowing Sauer's situation, this was clear thing. Emmy is good 3-rd pair defenceman. Not a big time scorer or passer but he brings depth and experience.
