Back in Bridgemont for a little bit, I took Michael and Michelle out for a date downtown to Cafe de Flore! It was snowy and beautiful out - I much prefer Sim snow to real snow.
Shane and Alexandra were pretty upset about losing their dog Chauncey, so they invited over some family to keep them company.
Their son John and his wife and kids all came by to spend the day, and John and Helena slow danced in the kitchen because they do that everywhere, all the time. The next day, their grandson Henry (the son of their daughter Kristen) came by for lunch and video games.
Back home after the vacation, and even though Michael is a fortune Sim and therefore not the sentimental type, I decided he needed to at least ask Michelle to move in. Wonderfully, she’s also a fortune Sim so I can see them being a good match. They’ll probably get married even if they don’t roll the want - I prefer the way it connects the family trees.
She likes to cook, so she kind of took on that duty with gusto. She also has a really endearing habit of falling asleep in front of the TV for a few moments then jerking awake from the noise, over and over. She does this even when her energy motive is like, a quarter full.
It’s cozy in the studio apartment but they’re quite happy there - but being fortune Sims, that’s only for now. I think their goal is going to be the move up to a bigger apartment in their same building - apartment life seems to suit them. Maybe the penthouse, but to fill it they’ll need kids!
Michael and Michelle put up the Murphy bed and cram some guests in the tiny apartment.
John and Helena still flirt like two teenagers. I caught them standing outside under this tree making googly eyes at each other, and eventually making out.
I dragged them back inside to make dinner, and when they called everyone to the table I realized that their oldest son Michael and his girlfriend Michelle had been MIA for a while. It seems they had gone out to spend some time in the sauna, and judging by the fact that Michelle forgot to put her clothes back ON, I have a pretty good idea what they were doing out there too.
Everyone politely ignored the fact that she was having Sunday dinner in her undies.
The burglar gets caught stealing the upper cabinets (??).
Michael took his girlfriend Michelle on a trip to Takemizu after he rolled a want to go there a couple days in a row, and they’re really enjoying themselves.
Michael Travers, eldest child (and not heir) in generation three of my legacy family. Living life in his tiny studio apartment and lucky enough to get a genie lamp. I know I’m too nice to my Sims because they get these ALL the time.
Being a fortune Sim, of course the first thing he wishes for is wealth.
