AU: Since yours and Michael’s relationship had gone public there’s been mixed feelings towards you from the fans. You expected this but the hateful tweets and even things yelled at you in public has bothered Michael tremendously. So while meeting some fans outside of a gig and getting such nice comments about you two sort of surprised him.

Over protective (Michael) You walked inside the house closing the door quietly hoping not to wake your brother, Luke. It was late and you had been out with Michael all night. You've been dating secretly and now the chances of Luke finding out were now doubled. The other day Luke had found a hickey on your neck and you said, "The baby threw a toy at me." You were referring to your baby brother. He raised an eyebrow but dismissed it. You had told Micheal to watch the hickeys but he didn't listen, leaving them everywhere. You tip toed up the stairs and went to sleep. Waking up the next morning you sauntered downstairs- oblivious to the hickeys on your neck. "Y/N?!" Luke shouted and you jumped turning to look at him. "Why the hell are there hickeys ALL OVER your neck and don't you dare tell me there from the baby I'm not that stupid!" He shouted. "Uhm...I- don't get mad." He said nervously. "No promises now tell me what's going on." He says crossing his arms over his chest. "Uhm... There from M-Micheal." You stuttered out. "WHAT?!" He yelled his eyes growing bigger. "No. There's no way. There's no way in hell your ever seeing him again. Nope." He says shaking his head. "Luke, you know I care about your opinion on who I end up with but you can't tell me who I can and can't date." You say calmly. "I can if he's my band mate!" He yells. "Luke please...I love him so much and I don't want to ruin your guys friendship." You say softly. He looks at you, his eyes softening. "Alright...but if he ever hurts you- tell me." He says pulling you into his chest. "I will Luke. I love you too." You sigh "I know. I love you, that's why I don't want you getting hurt." "I won't." "I know."
