went to a park for gym class today. there was a bridge that caught my attention, so i walked to the highest point of it and stared over the outlook at the field and the sky above it. no one else was around, so i spoke to the vast, or at least tried to. when we left, as soon as i stepped off of the bridge, i was suddenly overcome by a feeling of hunger. could be a coincidence, but there's no fun in that, is there? i do find it kind of funny that discovering this kin is what's finally motivated me to get outside more, though. i feel more at home under the sky. i wish i could be falling through it again. - michael crew, tma
