Holiday Flash Fic Prompts Here!
“Hellooo,” you called into the office. Trevor had left a little less than an hour ago, the last one out of the office but you still wanted to be sure.
You dropped the box of decorations and hooked up your phone up to the bluetooth speaker and instantly put on your Christmas playlist.
You started humming as you began to hang up some garland. It wasn’t long before the office was gleaming and you were belting out songs.
Your favorite song came on so you paused the decorating and took a minute to actually dance around. You knew your singing was very off key and you were so thankful to be alone.
At least you thought you were until the song ended and you heard a slow clap behind you. You shrieked in surprise and spun around to see Michael standing there smirking.
“I’m so sorry. I thought I was alone,” you clutched your chest.
Michael snickered and you could feel yourself blushing, “Clearly. Me and Gavin were trying to sneak in some Play Pals.”
“Oh,” was all you said running over to your phone to pause the music. “I’m so sorry. Trevor said everyone was gone for the day. I wanted to surprise everyone with some decorations.”
Michael’s smile became more genuine, “You actually killed it. Very festive. And we were going to go home but Gavin and I really wanted to finish our game so we came back after grabbing a bite.”
“I’ll keep the music down and my awful singing to a minimum,” you told him, turning the speaker down before turning the music on again.
Michael didn’t leave though, in fact, he moved into the room letting the door shut behind him, “It’s way better than Gavin’s singing though he doesn’t know half the songs and he certainly isn’t as cute.”
That caused you to blush and turn your attention back to the box of decorations. Michael slid up next to you, “I never knew you were so into Christmas.”
You tucked some hair behind your ear before bravely looking over at Michael, “It’s my favorite holiday. Plus I like spreading some holiday joy.”
“If I knew you liked Christmas I would have used that to my advantage before,” Michael crossed his arms and gave you a cheeky smile.
“Oh, how so?” you gave him your attention, willing yourself not to blush again.
He put an arm around you and pulled you in close, “I would have invited you to watch Christmas movies at my place and I can make you some hot cocoa.”
You bit back a smile and bravely replied, “You still can.”
Michael chuckled, “Alright then, my place it is. Say after we’re both done in an hour-ish. And don’t even tell me it’s late. Tomorrow’s Saturday and we can both sleep in.”
It was your turn to laugh, “Fair enough. You got a deal.”
Michael gave you a proud smile and turned the speaker up just a little as you gave him a curious look, “Loud enough I can hear you but quiet enough the mics won’t pick you up. I like your, as you put it, ‘awful singing’.”
Prompt: “I told you I couldn’t skate so you’d take the time to teach me but it turns out you’re really bad and I may actually be really good.”

“I thought you said you could skate,” you giggled as Michael slipped and fell on his ass for the umpteenth time.
“I can! I could, at least. Listen, it’s been awhile. They don’t really have skating out here in Austin so the last time I went was when I was in Jersey… and a kind,” Michael defended himself as he pushed himself off the ice. He was a bit wobbly but stood up tall and puffed out his chest as if to prove himself.
“How are you going to teach me if you can barely stand on your own?” you snorted.
Michael glared at you. You almost felt guilty about lying to him that you couldn’t skate but it was clear he wasn’t exactly honest about his ability to do so either.
“Just get your ass out here,” he instructed.
You held back a giggle as you pretended to take a few cautious steps out onto the ice. You skated over to Michael and grabbed onto him, pretending it was to steady yourself although you were actually steadying him, making sure he wasn’t going to fall.
Once Michael felt confident he slipped his hands into yours and your heart skipped a couple beats.
He started to skate backward and you followed his lead, trying to play up a few slip ups here and there without knocking Michael down. Michael you could tell was trying to concentrate as he skated backward. It didn’t last long though because he was fast approaching a turn with you still in tow and as he tried to maneuver he ended up tripping over himself and you both toppled to the ground since you were holding onto one another.
Michael ended up landing on top of you and you were trying to hold back a fit of giggles. He could tell so he shot you a look. It was then that you realized how close your faces were and how easy it would be to lean up and kiss Michael. Apparently, he had the same idea because the next thing you knew his lips were on yours and the two of you kissed until a little girl skating by let out a soft, “Ew.”
You finally let out your giggles as Michael rolled off you and stood with a wobble before reaching out for you.
You shook your head and stood on your on before you skated a few literal circles around Michael, a couple of the laps backward.
He stared at you and gave a soft, “What the fuck? I thought you said you couldn’t skate.”
“Technically, I asked if you could teach me,” you pointed out.
Michael gave you his best grumpy face as he asked, “Well, you obviously don’t need any help so why ask in the first place?”
“I wanted to spend some alone time with you,” you admitted before speeding off.
Michael stood there confused for a moment until his face lit up and he took off after you, “Hey! Wait up!”

“Oh, this gun is labeled ‘Ouch’,” you laughed taking it from the guy who was in charge of the paintball range.
“Oh, great,” Michael groaned as he was getting a mask to cover his face.
“Michael, are you ready to take twenty-four paintball shots?” Jon asked holding the mic up to him as he got into position.
“Fuck you, Risinger,” he growled as you took off the safety. Jon laughed as he left the area.
“On the count of three,” Jeremy told you and Trevor since three of you were shooting. Jeremy counted down and the three of you shot Michael who shouted the whole time, swearing.
You gasped as the last one hit him square in the chest and he clutched his shirt bending over. You practically threw the gun down and ran to Michael despite the protests of the safety guy.
“Are you okay?!” you asked, placing a hand on Michael’s arm.
“You shot me in the heart!” Michael groaned as he pulled off his mask and the neck protection.
“I’m so sorry. I still love you,” you told him before pressing a gentle kiss to his lips. You heard some soft gasps and turned forgetting all about your coworkers and the cameras. You shot Michael an apologetic look.
He sighed before wrapping an arm around you, “Guess that’s no longer a fucking secret.” He pulled you in for another kiss, making sure this one lingered as he wanted to make sure everyone knew you were together now and there were no questions.
You pulled away only when you laughed at Jeremy’s cheer of, “I fucking knew it!”
“So the biggest reveal of Extra Life this year is now Michael and Y/N dating. How long?” Jon was back over with his mic.
“Two years. Now fuck off, Risinger. I have important things to attend to,” Michael smirked before pulling you into one more kiss.
“Pretty please,” you bounced next to Michael. “You never let me do it.”
“You didn’t help set the charges, why should I let you have the fun in blowing up the building,” Michael held the detonator out of your reach.
You smirked and leaned over, pressing your lips to his. He instantly melted into the kiss, hands dropping to where you could grab the detonator. You pulled away with a smile and the device.
“Yeah, okay. That’s a pretty good reason,” Michael mumbled as you hit the button and the two of you watched the building erupt before you.
