Day 10: Miche

How you meet
Waiting in line to get coffee. It was your usual coffee shop, but for whatever reason that day wasn’t going well and to top it off, the line for getting a coffee was way longer than it usually was. You were worried about being late for work and to top it off, your mom called and you had forgotten to silence your phone so the cheesy song you had set it to blared out of your bag until you were able to turn it off. The guy in front of you in line was dancing until the phone stopped ringing where he turned around and smiled and he admitted that was also his ringtone. It was such a strange song so you didn’t believe him at first and he pulled out his phone to show you, asking for you to call him. Sure enough, it was the same song. You had also unintentionally given him your phone number and he called you later to ask you out.
Where you go on a date
Miche wanted to impress you and he thought the best way to do that was to show you how likeable he was. He loved animals and he knew that animals loved him too. He chose a cat café that he’d been to before, making sure the owner, who he was friends with, knew that he was bringing a date there so she saved his favorite table the whole night for the both of you. Since he already knew you liked coffee, he thought it was going to be perfect.
Something that goes wrong
He didn’t realize that you actually were scared of most animals and spent the whole time protecting you from any approaching cats, getting some scratches when they freaked out over his quick movements. He thought he ruined the date, but you thought it was cute.
How they confess
Miche is going to be really straight forward, but slightly less direct than just saying ‘I like you’. After sitting in the cat café for a bit, he asks if you’re hungry and when you both decide to go get food, he apologizes for the date not going that well. You explain that you had fun, but that you’re sorry for him having to take all the scratches. He says something like, “It’s okay. You’re more than worth it.”
What gift they bring you
We all know I love Miche, but I do see the man being a bit strange. He probably brings you a rock. But like, not any rock. I think it would be like a rock he found while going on a walk and it reminded him of you so he took it home and polished it and had it sitting on his shelf for a week before he gave it to you. I also think he would really like the way it smelled and try to sell that to you knowing full well you don’t have his sense of smell so you just smile and nod and he’s just like so freaking happy you like it. God, I love this man.
