I have a better question, since when does Michel Desjardin know Amos Kane so well?

The way I would read the fuck out of a Kane Chronicles prequel. It has the potential to answer soooo many questions. When did Ruby Kane figure out she was supposed to be a magician? When and how did her and Julius figure out what to do with the Gods? When did Isis show up? Why do the Kane brothers know Desjardin so personally? When and why did Amos fight with Menshikov (and win)? How did the Per Ankh/House of Life work?

It's crazy how almost every adult magician is dead in tkc...except for Amos of course.

I know some people ship Desjamos, but but but Desjardin and Amos relationship is 100 times funnier if you imagine they had a mentor and mentee relationship in the past (not even a far reach since Michel was like 200 years old). Imagine you are Desjardin and Iskandar is like "Here you go, here's your new student" and the said student is from a family you hate, insists on calling you by your first name, has a 10 foot long crocodile and a baboon following him at all times and misses his classes regularly because of his 'saxophone lessons'. The serious Mr. Michel "Call him 'Lord' and show respect" Desjardin would pop a vein so hard.

Edit- Hilarious content for Julius x Desjardin (Desjuls...?) as well. Like I headcanon the Kane brothers with 5/6 years of age gap. And if a teen Amos were to train under Desjardin, Michel would have to deal this young smart ass who will jump at any given chance to argue with him. Amos and Doughboy would watch them from the corner probably eating popcorn.
