17. What is your favorite line you’ve ever written?
The one that comes to mind is pretty recent, actually! I’m not sure if it’s my favorite of all time—I’d have to comb through more of my writing to decide that—but I do really love it. It’s from one of the Yunho requests I wrote for my 100 followers prompt game:
“Fine, you win. I’ll stay locked in the apartment forever, resorting to carrier pigeons and smoke signals as my only means of communicating with the outside world!”
I try to include humor in my writing when I can and sometime that’s a bit difficult for me, so I was quite proud of this lol
79. Are you an over-writer, under-writer, or just-right-er?
Hmm, I’d say under-writer as of late? I usually end up adding a few hundred to a few thousand words to my first draft. If I’m having trouble with a scene, sometimes I’ll just write things in brackets. For example, from my Pirate King draft: [describe his cabin here, make it warm and inviting yet reflective of his personality in some ways].
I used to be a just-right-er with huge perfectionist tendencies, but I found that this works a lot better to actually help me finish the things I’m working on.
