Happy Holidays
---
In 2019 I spent Christmas day with some friends in North London, and chose to cycle there and back as the public transport would have been shut down for the day. On my way home, early morning Boxing day, I got turned around and the only other person who was awake asked if I could use some directions. Instead of telling me how to get to King’s Cross, he insisted on SITTING ON MY CROSSBAR AND DIRECTING ME AS WE WENT
It was awkward and SUPER uncomfortable; but when I dropped him off and I went on my way, I couldn’t help but feel a really positive outlook from then onward. It’s not much, but it’s something I’ll hold onto.
Here’s to the New Year.
