Request: What would college be like for Lisa and Tuff? They're both massive dorks, but it'd be interesting to see what they'd pursue as a field of study. Or maybe they're not the college sort?

I actually had to use my brain for this one, but I think it’s by far the most interesting request because of it, and I love character studies. It wasn’t enough to go “lol heres Lisa and Tuff in college”, I had to really consider who they are now and how that could potentially effect their future outcomes. Any similarities to the characters is purely coincidental.

In the present, Lisa and Tuff aren’t big on school, right? But the difference is that Lisa is disciplined and Tuff is more of a live-for-now slacker. I don’t see them going to the same universities/colleges/trade schools/etc. Tuff, upon getting accustomed to college life, will likely gain way more friends than she’s had, seeing as being eccentric is a lot more acceptable and no one gives a crap about your hobbies enough to make fun of you for them. Still… she lacks direction, so she’d likely end up going for general studies, and staying for the community. If anything, she might wise up a bit and get a degree in, I dunno, psychology, but her hobbies will pretty much remain that. She might, in the distant future, consider picking up writing again, but it won’t even be a thought during her younger years. Not everyone becomes some type of artist/author, and that’s fine!

Lisa, having a younger mentality and being a lot more aloof, seems more like the type to be driven by her interests rather than the influence of people. She always loved comics, cartoons and video games, but I see Lisa growing up to realize that she’s not exactly a techie type of person. She’s more of a high level designer and likes to come up with stories moreso than refine a piece to death (sound familiar?), so I see her realizing early that she wants to be a storyboardist, either for cartoons or comics. She keeps herself inspired by surrounding herself in artwork of those she admires, as well as her own for encouragement. She’d still live at home during college, keeping to herself as usual (she’d probably make about one or two really good friends maximum), but what she lacks in sociability she makes of for in self determination.

Again, a really great request, hopefully it feels like something that could actually happen. Does it hit too close too home? Also, I really want to see an animation based on Lisa’s painting.
