more Jax is an Ozling AU!!! He's the prankster of the family but after Ortensia's death, through his pranks he'd project his hurt unto others with physical pain, it quickly escalated into actual fist fights. He became a troubled child and was put into the special needs program at school. That was his last straw and he ended up running away. As a Lucky Rabbit he was lucky enough to make it big in acting (Unc Mickey is his biggest inspiration) his stage name being Jax. He still interacts with his family for the holidays but that's it :p

motm! Mickey Mouse means so much to me and he's my current is my fictodad!! I made a Pluto! sona inspired by @thekaeru2 's Figaro!! THE SIBLINGS EVAAA they'd kinda dislike each other tho. I imagine in @theinkbeach Minnie likes me but also "hates" that I'm Mickey's kid and Figaro actually hates me more for the same. Pluto would run the front of Minnie's operations and Figaro would deal with the darker side

learned today that there a obscure version of Mickey Mouse that appear in some 50s car commercials and the reason why it’s obscure is because so many people didn’t like that there was one fan that wrote a letter saying they ruined Mickey & Walt immediately told his staff to stop using that design

I really like this design of Mickey, very different from what came before and after. It has less round shapes and more sharp shapes and thin lines. Very interesting and fitting for the era it was made in, especially when UPA was all the range back then.

Duckverse June 2026 June 13-16: Happy Birthdays

Celebrating Donald and Daisy's birthdays as well as an early birthday for Mortimer. I felt these would right for Happy Birthdays since the Mortimer invited the gang to celebrate his and the duck couple's special days together dressed in their America 250 best. The idea of an idol group game where the main boys are based off of three of the Fab 5 + Chip and Dale is absolutely fucking bonkers, but then again Kingdom Hearts and Twisted Wonderland’s concepts are as well and yet have somehow managed to work. I am intrigued to see if this will be another lightning in a bottle or not.

I still can't believe we're getting Mickey Mouse but as an anime idol boy 😬 Around the time of Twst's initial launch, I actually had an OC twisted from Mickey Mouse that was both an idol and an entertainment industry business mogul. In the public, he's cheery and pristine, but that's merely a facade to hide his unsavory business practices. I don't think he ever got a proper name because he was mostly an unserious character I made up to criticize the actions of the Walt Disney corporation. Kinda wild that we're getting a canonized idol Mickey now, after all those years (though I highly doubt Disney would have such an edge to their characters).

Anything can be successful if you pour Mouse Money into it/j

I have to wonder if Spalik's premise is Yana's initial pitch for Twst, but reworked?? Because according to Yana, the original idea she had for Twst was young actors putting on musical productions of the Disney IPs. And now Spalik, a project which has a huge emphasis on entertainment + the idol industry (which ties back to music), is coming out soon. (And yeah, it sucks but it's perfectly legal for Disney to take any ideas made or shared by creators they partner with and use them for future projects.)
