Me: This is my third time here...
Bystander: with that big of a tip? What does she do for you?
Me: *sweats nervesly* she uh... is kind my best friend, I've known her for a few years.

This sums up my work day perfectly...
Today I had a older manand his wife, both who spoke Indian, check out. His english was difficult to understand(I had to ask him seval times to repeat what he said) The wife in prefect englisg says "you monolingual idiot. Just give us the recite so we can leave" I cursed at her in Italian and this woman, three group behind in line, starts to lose it. The couple left, and a few mintues later I checked out the lady, she still has tear in her eyes. She leans over the couner and hugs me.
