ok but consider... micpress. (present mic x mr compress) both flamboyant showman with unique quirks. both hide their faces/eyes (mask and glasses), wear unconventional-for-hero/villain work outfits just because they fit their style (a suit/leather jacket for battle, really? so hard to move in both), and look COMPLETELY different outside of said outfit to hide their identity from the public. i can imagine compress tuning into mic's radio show, or mic enjoying compress' sleight of hand tricks at a bar. i don't know if they'd ever be Actual Boyfriends (considering twice and aizawa, respectively) but i could see a LOT of over the top flirting. bonus points if it's traitor!mic, the two clicking immediately, dabi hating mic but compress defending him, getting drinks together after league meetings, venting when shigaraki does questionable things.. stuff like that. gimme your opinion! my fiancé came up with the ship and he sold me on it.
I've never thought about this, honestly, even though I remember to have seen one or two drawings about this ship but it looks really interesting though.
While yes I don't think they could ever be in a relationship, I can see them being good friends. Their exuberant personality (well this is mostly Mic), their way of dressing, their age, they all go well together.
I can totally see Mic screaming out of his lungs like he always does while talking about something, the whole League extremely pissed off and Compress being like "Sorry, he's like this." while patting Mic's shoulder aw. Or picking some clothes together, Hizashi would choose the weirdest things and Atsuhiro being like 🤔mmm and then giving him a fucking tuxedo "Sir you at least have the money to buy it."
And don't let me start about choosing the music, I know damn well Mic would choose something loud af and then Compress changing it to some classic shit 😭
But oh I think them being drunk together would be the best thing, Atsuhiro would forget about being so composed and start behaving like Hizashi lol.
