Problem soft and brittle nails!
The nail consists of proteins ( at least 80% ) of hydrating fluid (15 to 18%) and mineral salts (about 2 %).
Three proteins constituting keratinized layers of the nail are fibrin , globulin and glycine.
The first two types of protein formed parallel circuit connected through the third kind . This structure allows the nail to be resistant to breakage. Deficiency of proteins makes the nail brittle .
Hydrating fluid is a very important element in the formation of healthy nail. Water is collected mainly in the intracellular and extracellular lipids. Intracellular lipids provide its flexibility while extracellular – similar to the role of the cement provide adhesion between cells , forming three layers of horn .
Many minerals in the nail , but the most important are calcium , which together with lipids provide strength .
Tough Claw : resistant to shock, not split .
Fragile nail : break at the slightest shock.
Claw lost its normal color tint: in the more moisture is increased , does not retains its original shape and is easily bent .
Soft Claw : has the same characteristics as nails , lose their normal color shade , but no- transparent .
Torn or frayed claw : the result is a lack of hydration.
Like the hair, skin, nails are also different types - dry , brittle , damaged , normal and soft. Discover your type of nails !
Dry nails do not shine and appear unsupported . If you swipe your thumb through the nail , it will drag slightly instead of sliding completely through the tile. The secret in the treatment of this type of nail is hydration – Vitamin E is reflected perfectly dry nails ( just like dry skin ) .
Always use a moisturizing base for lacquer to allow your nails are always hydrated. You can prevent dehydration and replace ordinary soap cleansing gel .
Gently press both sides of the nail plate together. If the nail does not bend probably not have brittle nails . These are the nails that have no flexibility , split on impact and are completely dehydrated . In this case, many people are turning to the healing nail , but it really is the worst choice because it makes your nails more harder .
Therefore , to promote the flexibility of the nail is recommended to treat with almond oil overnight. In chickens , do both sides of your nails straight and slightly rounded tip – shape that will increase their resistance . The shape of the nails may also increase their resistance because it helps in the absorption of shock .
If your nails peel or split then you have damaged nails. Help your nails with strengthener polish that needs to fill peeled parts of the tiles. This will prevent air bubbles under the paint and stop splitting . Note that when the nail is peel he brings with him healthy cells of the nail and its damage !
Please be sure not only grown nails, but that part of them that will grow in the future. Therefore , use cuticle oil at least twice a day. Keep your cuticles so supple and nails grow more easily and in excellent health!
If your nails bend at the slightest touch and rarely grow beyond the tip of your finger , you have soft nails. To get them back into shape , you have to heal.
The easiest way to do this is to score. Actually, any oil will help strengthen soft nails because prevents contact with their main enemy – water.
Always wear gloves while washing and then anoint your hands with cream !
If you do not have any of the problems already mentioned , your nails bend slightly when pressed , they look pink and shiny and grow easily so you’re lucky – you have normal nails ! Keep them with moisturizing creams and avoid harsh detergents and hot water !
What causes damaged nails ?
You should know that the problems with the nails are neither hereditary nor congenital . Their health depends on:
Climate , nutrition and treatment to which they are subject .
Prolonged immersion in water , as the horny layers have the ability to absorb many times their water content ( nails , lose their normal color tint and soft nails ) .
Frequent use of chemical products , especially soap , detergent and other products for home maintenance , which led to the drying of the nail. Frequent wetting and subsequent drying soluble extracellular lipids ( brittle nails ) .
Only 15% of the cases , the causes of soft and easily breaking nails are internal .
In the other case, the main enemies of nails :
Poor and aggressive removers (pure acetone ! )
Improper cutting of nails (too deep )
Aggressive maintenance manicure or lack of any care
Use of poor quality decorative paints
Incorrect sharpening the edges of the nail
Filing and thinning of the nail plate (top )
Tips to keep your nails in perfect shape :
- Always wipe nails with a tissue before varnishing . All oils left on the nail will prevent the adhesion of the paint and will cause cracking .
- If a nail is cracked , it is best to remove paint and begin anew. If you have time , soak in nail polish remover and smooth the cracked area to soften. Now paint the nail again and apply the varnish .
- If you spread the paint while drying dip your finger in nail polish remover and smooth . Then apply another layer of varnish .
- If a nail breaks the best solution is to cut it . However, if the tile is deeply hurt tear off a small piece of tea bag of his transparent shell. Put it on the nail and apply polish !
- Do not use artificial nails with nail polish remover because it will dry the plate ! Instead, use special products for nail offered in beauty salons .
- Problems with nails used only high-quality and proven products specifically designed for nail care .
