Working on a late commission for a friend. It is a illustration of a model locomotive for his Model Railroad. This one is almost done, some more coloring with Prisma’s and chalks. It’s a ink drawing painted in Gouache over top, then prisma’s and chalk over that. Created a really cool effect! And a wonderful blend of colors.

“Finished” BJD Marker piece! I’m at the, afraid to ruin it stage now at least, so thought I’d share. I adore working with markers, I find them so enjoyable even if they aren’t as obedient as digital medium! I certainly did lament lacking the ability to zoom in, and I was sorely reminded of the drawbacks of working on something so detailed at such a small scale! I may reattempt this eventually at a larger scale. But I love having an actual physical piece of art now in my hands! But yes, even though this is far from perfect, I actually really love it and I’m proud of my accomplishment? And best of all I’m inspired to make more art again! Also, a really big thank you to the makers of Ohuhu brush markers, for making my dreams of owning a large marker set an actual reality. They are affordable and amazing and have made me super happy! 🥰🥰🥰 Subjects here are my Gehirn and Herla ball jointed dolls, a Twigling Eloy on a DollShe body and a Twigling Ingenue. My favorite Ohuhu marker, Mint Blue BG4 died it’s last breath, but we did get squeeze enough out of it to get this far with the coloring. Fortunately my marker order should be arriving next week. I splurged on some Copics last week, and then of course the new Ohuhu skin set brush markers hit Amazon last night and I could not pass those beauties up! Good fortune has it, the set contains a BG4!!! ... But here is Neela in her centaur form. She’s the daughter of Herla and Gehirn.
