Today we found a red commensal scaleworm (arctonoe pulchra), a type of worm that can live inside of sea cucumbers and other hosts. It somehow came from our feeder kelp and ended up in our touch tanks. They are located from Gulf of Alaska to Baja California, but not common in California!
