I did this illustration a long time ago for a musician friend, Beth Patterson. Recently I took my pencil drawing and the inked and colored image and compiled this "video" using Microsoft ClipChamp. The recording of the song is from Beth's debut solo album, HYBRID VIGOR. Enjoy!

I've wanted to make something with Like a River Runs and AvA for a while. Thought about doing a drawing but a video worked out better.

Learning how to use ClipChamp has been fun so far. Reminds me of using Windows Movie Maker waaayyy back in the day.

does anybody know why microsoft clipchamp somehow increases file size when you export stuff....... I uploaded a 1GB video (HD) and cut out a few seconds of content from it, and when I went to export it it was ELEVEN GIGABYTES????? I literally REMOVED part of the video and somehow it's more than 10 gigabytes extra to export it??????? literally what is the logic behind that

i hate clipchamp

for context: i was using clipchamp to make a YTP video, but clipchamp is SLOOOW and won't collaborate with me so...i'm moving the entire YTP to another video editor.

Does anybody know how to video clips into Clipchamp videos? I am currently making some videos that require clips from videos that are Youtube (unfortunately) but I am unable to download it because it requires premium which I can’t buy. So, does anyone have any ideas on how to download the clips from those videos?

Announcing this right now before users start to questions about my projects.

The fourth chapter/part of Djumpin' Djimmini was so excruciating to work on to the point where I just quitted. Yeah, I have delayed a bunch of chapters in video form, but this was the last straw. All this effort wasted for no reason at all.

This is genuinely such bullsh1t-

Because of this, Djumpin' Djimmini has to be on a hiatus until further notice. My passion project into making this comic adaptation real is ruined because of this NASTY surprise of an update in Clipchamp when I returned from my vacation.

This is absolutely devastating as not only did I spend a lot of time on this project but the goal of this project fully releasing in 2025 was RUINED because of this update. I lost all hope into making this a real thing and now I have to see the aftermath.

Djumpin' Djimmini isn't just a regular chapter in Carnival Chaos, it was my FAVORITE chapter in the entire novel, and I wish the novel in general gets more recognition.

None of these huge delays would have happened but it did. Expect the 4th chapter to release in Spring or Summer because I can't take it anymore.

I wanted to make simple video edits like just taking short clips from longer videos or putting music over images etc. Don't want to boot up DaVinci Resolve for very simple edits. Microsoft has a program called Clipchamp which works well enough, but it is so bizarre. I noticed that it is not even like, an actual local program. It is a website. The program is actually a customized browser, probably based on Microsoft Edge. When you export a video it has the "download" UI that browsers do. If you drag something into the home page, it opens it up in a new browser window. And of course it does not work without internet. This bizarre little thing is Windows 11's version of Movie Maker.
