Microsoft's Surface RT is a ground-breaking tablet, then, and fittingly it's a beautifully made one as well. The body contains smart, gunmetal-grey aluminium, with chamfered edges all around, and fifty percent of the rear panel flips out to develop a sturdy kickstand. The tablet posses a USB port on the right, that allows the connection of storage, keyboards, mice and, so Microsoft claims, lots of other peripherals, including printers and scanners. The display is superb. It's a 10.6 in, 1,366 x768 IPS display. Colours leap out of the screen and the viewing angles are near-flawless, with almost no color or contrast shift as you turn the display away from you.
