Just recently a 44-year-old Russian man was reported dead after crashing into a glass table and dangerous wounds led to his death while playing a VR video game in his apartment. This is not the only case though, If you look around the youtube you can find lot of videos called FUNNY VR MOMENTS that is basically people crashing into objects around them while playing in VR. Maybe in smartphones there is no solution to avoid it except playing in an empty room, but Microsoft has brought a solution in Microsoft mixed reality. You can set a working area in Windows mix reality space in virtual reality and define a boundary for yourself and your free room around you. it will show you your safe room space to move while you are in VR. And basically works as a virtual alarming cage for you to have in mind that you should not go beyond that line, cause after a few minuets that you spend in VR you start losing the track of how the reality looks like and where is where.

On this case details of the case are still not confirmed, as the investigation is ongoing. However, sources claim that the man, while playing a Star Wars VR game, tripped over a glass table, crashed into it, and suffered significant wounds to his head. It’s said that he continued playing the game and has lost the sense of reality and in spite of his injuries before dying due to blood loss. As the only official source right now is a preliminary report by the Russian Investigative Committee, it’s unknown if the victim was under the influence of intoxicating substances, as that would explain his lack of a reaction to the crash and the injuries that came with it.
