As some of you might know I'm working on a Sims 4 save file based on my Genshin Impact Au (Mid Garage Band 6reeze). So I have a question.
For more info: The essential builds are mostly finished but I'm curious
How indepth should the save be?
Very Indepth (Multiple worlds, fleshed out NPCs, written out Lore to explore)
A bit deeper (Two World - the two parts of Inazuma City the story is set in)
Leave it as it is now (One World, fully fleshed out, no connections past it)
work on the mid garage band 6reeze sims 4 save file continues and lovestruck will add a whole new level 😈
my heart almost stopped bc inreinstalled the sims and i forgot to move my saves out and they are all gone
good thing i backed the genshin save file up i think i would've genuinely hurt myself if i didn't - 200h almost down the drain
HI GUYS! SIMS 4 FILE STUFF
new sims 4 save file poll - i know, ugh. but i'm conflicted.
so first, hi, if you don't remember me (i don't blame anyone, i'm pretty irrelevant) i'm hastur and i'm working on a genshin impact themed modern au lovingly named "Mid Garage Band". it's coming along really well with already about 200h of work in there even with some hiccups because of updates that broke my mods and sometimes my entire game. maybe you've seen some of my teaser pictures for it (search my blog for #mid garage band dev log)
now i come to you - everyone interested in this stupid little thing - with a conflicted inquiry.
there have been a lot of rumors recently about potentially getting a band themed expansion pack and obviously it would make sense to be used in a save file named "Mid Garage Band" centered around a teen group of friend's shitty garage band. HOWEVER, since the beginning of this project i've been limiting myself to a select few of expansion packs only (no game packs, stuff packs and kits) because as a broke student i know how tight money is for everyone and i want as many people as possible to be able to play with my beautiful little baby. the only break from my mold of these packs was when lovestruck was released and i chose to pull it into the group because of the gorgeous items and the nice dating features.
Currently these expansions are a requirement:
this is already quite a few packs and get famous only even got in there because of the fame mechanic that i really wanted to use (and discovered university was a requirement by a mod i am using, so i decided to add it).
SO NOW, POLL TIME:
If a Band Pack releases, should I add it to the roster and adapt the save file to it?
Yes, obviously it need that pack.

so work on the save file is delayed until further notice because my game is broken (again) and i haven't figured out yet what exactly is breaking it and if i can even fix it or have to wait for more hotfixes
