🥮🎲 Really missing annual Pua Tiong Chiu. My piece for @antholegacies which sent out digital copies today. Mid-Autumn Festival is observed by all kinds of Asian communities as a gathering for family and friends to celebrate regional and local customs. It extends far beyond its origins in China, and I hope for that sense of community it brings in such a tumultuous year as this. Happy Mid-Autumn 🏮🌟

I forgot to post this last night so Happy Mid Autumn! I didn't know it was called that until much much older cause my parents only ever called it Mooncake Festival.
Starting from 11 o'clock, a mango jelly mooncake and a dragon fruit jelly mooncake given to us, mom's fruit cocktail jelly mooncake, mom's Midori liqueur snowskin with the durian lotus paste I bought, my durian lotus paste with misleading purple coloured Teochew style thousand layer spiral mooncake, mom's mix nuts (and candied peels) baked traditional and the very center is her baked traditional lotus paste with single egg yolk.

Sadly no moon viewing last night cause it was raining on and off all day.
happy late mid autumn festival!!! haven’t done 3d in so long this moon cake kicked my butt! made the moon cake I ate afterwards 1000x more rewarding haha
