She had pestered him for a study date session and their actions of doing more talking and less work had brought them to this point. Of course the man had offered to escort her home but the blonde denied such nonsense. Rei would appreciate the quiet and having the apartment all to her own, and Minako had no issues taking up his couch for a night.

However skirts were not fit to sleep in and the woman made it clear (over and over and over again) she would only sweat to death in any pants he provided. Thus here she as, observing her figure in the mirror against his closet door, rolling and unrolling the waistband.

"Don't be such an ass," Aphrodite spoke with clipped words, heel tapping to the floor. She wasn't sure if she was to be more annoyed at his dismissing to the happiness pouring from Serenity and Endymion, or simply the fact he hadn't asked for her hand in one of these waltzes.

"It's time you just accept like the rest of us this as bound to happen and it's better we are at least here to monitor them." Her gaze swept the room, seeing her soldiers enjoying themselves and chattering up with the Earth generals. For this one night it was decided they could all have a bit of fun and relax for it was well deserved. "If you are going to be so arrogant perhaps it's best you leave so as not to..." shit, she was so bad with these sayings, "Have a parade of rain."

Parts of themselves were marred with bruises, curiously in a circular shape that would easily match each other's lips. The princess sighed and laid back as flashes of the prior day scrolled across closed eyes.

He had come to retrieve Endymion, shouting his way in to the warrior's chambers after finding his charge mingled with the Venusian's in a private quarter of Magellan Castle. While calmly pinning the satin to accentuate her body--and the princess was never sort of accessories when in such attire--she assured him her only hand was welcoming the Earth Prince to a safe and quiet place to spend the night. It wasn't her fault he happened to share that space with a certain Lunarian. And then he was mere inches from her, breathing in that scent of lilies mixed with roses, and lavendar; it was intoxicating and everything about the blonde drove him mad--mad enough to kiss her, to wrap strong arms around her slim figure and push her to the bed with an exciting force. The golden belt around her waist, the necklaces and diadem, his cape and uniform, all of it tumbled to the floor and would remain there.

The young girl--no, the woman, otherwise known as Sailor Venus, was brought out of her reverie by a cool and gentle touch. Yet again her eyes met a set of silver, ones she had never seen so serene. She kissed his hand, his palm, his wrist, doing her best to avoid replying to his statement. In truth there was no need to do so; they could feel it in their bones their moment of bliss had come to expire. But the fire in their hearts wanted to drive it onward and perhaps, just with a sheer amount of luck, they could be happy like this all the time. Kunzite cradled her gently like he'd never held something so precious and there they remained until it was well past for the Shitennou general to return home.

It's weird, you know?

Looking at someone and trying to see them the same way after they change. That man who once threatened our lives... He's good now? He's our friend?

If he's as loyal to the kingdom, and to the prince as he claims to be, he's worth taking the risk of trust.

If not... I have made the wrong decision.

I still can't quite understand what Mina-chan ever saw in him, though.

Perhaps huge amounts of white hair is attractive?

It's the same thing all over again! If I close my eyes, the horror reappears when they open!

I sit upright, and I'm on the ground. I see her face, filled with tears, longing, and a painful regret.. The poor girl's braids hang limply, and she's not as confident as she once was. And then I see her. She who stole my best friend away from me. She's weakening, I want to help, but I cannot speak. I cannot wave. I cannot scream. My body is dead, though my heart is very much alive.

I don't want to see this. I don't want her to remove those bracelets! I don't want her to see what real strength she had. I'd forgive what you did to Diana, and to Artemis, and me, if you'd just tell me you're safe!

But it's no use. I hear her screaming. I have to watch. There's no way to reverse what happened, and I could have done more, but the past is behind us. I don't think I'll ever be comfortable with that.

Goodbye, ''Sailor Tin Nyanko''. You're still Nyan-chan to me. Death has surely freed you.

I will search for your star.
