People will try to tell you that you can’t handle something. They’ll say it’s too much for you. The truth is too heavy. Your calling is too big. It’s too much responsibility. They’ll say you aren’t ready. But the truth is, it’s not that you aren’t ready it’s that they don’t want you to step into your full power. They aren’t ready for you to show up because when you show up, things have to change, the truth has to be revealed.
They don’t want to see you in control of your own life, navigating your own path, exceeding their expectations or making them liars from doubting you in the first place.
They don’t want to see you do you.
They want you to show up for everyone else but yourself and then they’ll manipulate you with indoctrination to keep you from fully understanding what YOU really mean. They want to be able to say “I told you so”, when in reality it’s the fear of what you will do with what is yours.
And beyond that they simply just don’t want you to have it and because they don’t want you to have it, there will always be an excuse, a story, a discovery, a rumor and a lie to pull you back into hiding, doubt, guilt, repression, worry, and shame.
But you know who you are.
