"May the midiclorians in your blood be with you! " Gary Kurtz

Alright I just had a discussion with my dad earlier today and its been banging around my head about how to fix, or at least a base idea on how to fix a big annoyance of mine from Star wars, and from what I hear, a lot of other peoples too.
Midiclorians. Or however you spell it, these things have always been a stain in my eyes because it was some sort of bull shit way to take the whole SPACE MAGIC feel of Star wars and explain it away scientifically, as a physical manifestation of the Force, and turning the force into some all around massive hivemind colony deal. Well I propose a different version.
Midiclorians as INDICATORS, not as the cause of force sensitivity. Hear me out.
I got inspiration from Kyber crystals. The force sensitive rocks that go in lightsabers to focus the energies, and depending on how you are atuned to the force you get a different color. At least from my knowledge. No the funny thing is kyber colors come in blue, free, yellow, hell, even purple naturally, because the crystals are intune to the light side of the force naturally,But. Not in red. "But siths have red lightsabers" yes they do. Because the sith force their Dark attributed energies though their crystals since that don't normally focus them, it cracks the crystal, making the sabre red. Now.
What if the midiclorians were like that? Not part of the force BUT attracted to it, attuned to it. It would explain why they are everywhere, explain why force sensitive people have them in high numbers and all that! And, here's the twist! It COULD, with a bit of imagination, explain why force ghosts happen only to Jedi. Now. Padawans only get tested for midiclorians when they are young, so it might not be pushing too far but what if, in this rendition, midiclorians were like Khyber crystals. More attuned to the light then the dark, and for the truly bread Light side users, the midiclorians in them become so insync with their force spirit that when they die, the midiclorians stay with their force signature when they concentrate. Like a hive coming together, and they are so dense that you can see the shape of the force spirit, even though when not concentrating they are still there.
I know its rough. Like, massively, massively rough in concept but its a start. What do you all that think?
El Ferre y la Bego ahi derrochando midiclorianos.. @psssilocybine #StarWars #Jediknight #midiclorians
Viper’s taken NE’s Midiclorians and did the same thing he did to IC. It looks even “slower” than the IC one.
My personal take on the Midiclorians (or how to fix the idea of them) is that they exist because of the Force and that is how you can tell how Force Sensitive someone is, based on their connection to the Force, the amount of Midiclorians that manifest changes. Anakin had so many because of his strong connection to the Force, instead of having such a strong connection because of them. If that makes sense.
